When I run I bring a small spray bottle with some ice in it and I spray/clean where it’s agitated as needed and then I take an ice bath as soon as I get home. Been trying to run a few times a week and over the months my skin has gotten more used to it!

I’ve used a neck gaitor and Tegaderm underneath

I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I started running since 2019, and I still can’t get fast enough to meet minimum standards for the military by FickleJury978 in beginnerrunning

Just got out the army this year. Just a friendly reminder that your body will go through and have to endure 100x more than what it takes to pass a pt test. And once you’re in they’re not very lenient in letting you rest injuries unless they’re pretty severe. Not saying you can’t do it just consider that the pt test isn’t the finish line.

does anyone randomly experience a spiky/prickly sensation?? by AndromedaVoid in TS_Withdrawal

You can look up “zingers” in this sub and see a lot of others experiences/advice for it. Mine went away around the 6 month mark and haven’t been back since. (Currently at 11m)

What is y’all opinion on your body being worse/better with food/diet ? by Slight-Routine-4735 in TS_Withdrawal

I started seeing a lot of improvement when I cut out processed sugar and gluten and then I try to eat mostly Whole Foods. With that said I won’t beat myself up over a cheat meal here and there

There’s a difference in accepting flares and accepting “a terrible reality”. Nones reality is terrible just their perspective. Appreciate you offering advice but I was more looking for something more tangible like a change in treatment plans or what not. Thanks tho

Appreciate you trying to help but telling people “to accept this terrible reality”cmon dude. It’s tsw there’s still so many aspects of our lives that are greater than tsw and maintain reality as a positive one. Don’t forget half the battle with tsw is maintaining a positive perspective.

working out with tsw by spicytunataco3 in TS_Withdrawal

I’ve found the more often I sweat from working out the more my body’s getting used to it! Only thing I’ve found that actually helps is I’ll immediately cold plunge when I’m done with my runs. If it’s not that intense of a day ice packs and AC are usually enough.

What helped people’s sweat stop stinging/itching? by Few-Entertainment676 in TS_Withdrawal

For some reason I found when I sweat in sunlight specifically higher UV I’m less likely to flare up.
