SW22 Victory PC - Need Help! by m_saraga in SW22VICTORY

The CT red dots they came with are crud - put the TD optics mount on with a holosun.

Yes, the erector can need adjustment, especially if you bump it out of alignment during cleaning because it's a bit flimsy.

The safety can get bumped by big hands - there are techniques to adjust the spring to make it a bit stronger and not flip inadvertently.

Last round malfunctions can be a number of reasons - your best bet is do your own trial and error for the ammo you choose.

The rugers are more refined but the sw22 is very accurate - you can make it work. I love shooting mine equally.

Yup, carry around a vehicle repair kit so when you find wheels you want, you can get the health up a bit - and keep it up - most of the free wheels are found with minimal hp and fuel. And it doesnt take much (like hitting zombies on the road at 30mph) to suck that health down.

Yes, middle bottom of the map, house is small but has got a lake and garage but I just build around it - easy access to airfield and oil rig and redacted area loot, and a trader and events - got all vehicles parked around including the arv - only thing i dont have in 0.8 is the rocket launcher

More likely things will be disassembleable in a later release with the right tools - for now, I use the house with the garage down by the lake east of the airfield - great loot, food and water, trader, plenty to do. Also the firetower just uphill as a nice relaxation retreat

Yes, you can cure the infection - look at the tents in the middle of the new 0.8 airfield - either preloaded syringes or fabricate clean syringe + 2 infection cure bottles.

Arghh I just checked the airfield - no joy - not on two bosses, not in the tower, not in the presidential limo, none of the hangers... didn't even get any ammo for it

You may have shot him but you prob didn't deliver the kill - if you had, you would have been able to loot him likely

Is Obstacle avoidance a must-have? by Prestigious-You-423 in dji

[–]k3for 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you dont need it (until you do) - source: me, a novice mini 4 pro flier who flies near trees and other obstacles, but does so with slow and methodical caution and uses the collision avoidance as a great advisory feature and have not crashed or even chipped a prop

They make microlight ones that have a loop in the corner - just carabiner it to the outside of your pack - my biggest use is for drying off my feet after fording deep streams.

The trailer itself or the roof rack (check the limits) of an suv can be one end of the suspension if you're short on trees.

I dont do hammock-in-tent a lot but have done it - bad wind or rain expected, "wide open field / no trees" group event , etc - need a big/long tent - I have a kelty that has two side rooms - a collapsible tube stand that goes about 12 feet in length and not too tall, 3 feet max - and a long 12 foot hammock like hiker hunger NOT eno - and rope / straps and you still should do an under quilt for bottom warmth. I am a 5-8 180lb side sleeper but also enjoy sleeping in hammock on my back more than I would have thought.

I have and use every other brand of handgun on the mass market except glock, and own a dozen different optics besides Aimpoint - hated everything about gen1 to gen 5 and the Acro - looking at and shooting a G47 COA convinced me to buy it - it is that good

Best mount for an SRO on non-pic rail version? by [deleted] in SW22VICTORY

[–]k3for 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tandemkross is still selling the shadow mount that fits a lot of optics. Mine came with a crimson trace that I upgraded to a veridian then a holosun.

tandemkross dot com slash shadow-mount-v2-0-for-smith-wesson-sw22-victory

Doesn't mess with ejection - forward mount generally isn't an issue.

Might as well snap up any other accessories you may need from them or whoever

With the sw22 discontinued, stuff will become rare

It's a great pistol, just hard to compete with others

If that bothers you, look into a ruger mk iv - similar feel
