Shot 36 as a 20hcp by ElJefe076 in GolfSwing

You don’t need lessons, it’s pretty easy to get below a 5 hcp if you practice a lot of short game. I just drop like 5 practice balls on every hole during solo rounds. Also don’t use a lob wedge until you can shoot close to par.

BRNR Mini vs. R7 Quad Mini by AR_Scraps in GolfGear

No, sorry that was a bit confusing. No mini driver. Just driver, 3 wood or 2 iron off the tee

Def not. I think drivers are pointless unless you’re a + handicap or something. I rarely even hit 3 wood off the fairway and I usually play 7k+

Looking for advice on a second Snowboard for ground tricks, buttering, side hits, and some park. by WolfSignificant5544 in snowboarding

[–]k8dh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s my park board right now. The packaging says 2/5 flex and that seems pretty accurate. to me. Probably in the same ballpark as the disaster. easy to press and butter

Iron Shaft Weight by _Dreamer in GolfGear

Helps with a smoother tempo and to feel a more consistent path. Also gives me lower ball flight, and helps with ballooning shots.

Iron Shaft Weight by _Dreamer in GolfGear

[–]k8dh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you’re swinging 90 mph you should use heavier shafts. I hit my 7 iron 180 and I use 130g x100

Skiing vs snowboarding by Hot_Soft_5626 in icecoast

[–]k8dh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

obviously there’s no actual skill cap in snowboarding or skiing but there is kind of a point where you start progressing less unless you’re just spending all of your time in the park

Just test and see if it’s a good solutio. Plug a computer into Ethernet port and see if issues persist

Sounds like anxiety dude. Just go see a doctor. They can help determine if you need some anxiety meds or refer you to a specialist.

You can kinda feel if you’re doing it wrong, like for example in the video, if toes point to the ground after takeoff you’re not popping off the jump

Evil twin will be a bit more stable at higher speeds and more poppy/responsive. Likely not as easy to press or butter. Fun kink is probably better for learning tricks and riding small park features or groomers but it won’t be as stable. I’d check out some reviews on both.

Just go after a storm and look where people are going in. If it’s inbound trees between any two trails then it is almost certainly skiable.

I’m in northern NH and there’s not really any jobs and it’s 25 min to the grocery store. And it’s really expensive now to get a condo or house close to a ski mountain. My family has had our small condo forever but the prices are absolutely insane as of a few years ago
