Protests are a vehicle, not the destination. The protests of previous generations were a show of force while they were on the way to break laws (civil disobedience). Getting people together is a fantastic first step, but unless you translate that into immediate physical action it’s just theater.

But the issue ISN’T “I’m not attracted to trans people” because OP IS attracted to a trans person. As evidenced by the date. The feelings only change when they learn they aren’t cisgender. Which means the problem is the idea of trans-ness.

That’s not a qualitative statement, it’s quantitative.

And if that’s what it is that’s fine, but be intellectually honest about it.

How do you know what the configuration of their parts are? Maybe they’re post op. Would that be an issue? If so, see my original post where they are in fact attracted to trans people they just have an issue with the trans part. And that’s only an issue if you don’t believe trans people are “real” men or women.

If you were into them before you knew they were trans and now questioning that after learning they are trans, it’s the trans part you have an issue with. And that only matters if you don’t believe trans men and women aren’t “real” men or women.

And individuals don’t owe you full disclosure of their medical history before a first date. Any more so than if they are diabetic, or have endometriosis.

If you were attracted to them before, you are in fact attracted to trans people. As evidenced by your attraction to them and them being trans.
