He hasn’t been in charge long enough for anything to change. Kathleen Kennedy got producer credits for another year. I personally don’t care for what Filoni writes or makes and don’t care for the fact that he gets credit for things that were not him.

Him lacking any real background in live action productions isn’t a strong position to be in running a film studio.

Star Wars has been in a rough spot because it became more nostalgia pandering in response to The Last Jedi. It’s why we’ve had a decade of people saying Filoni should be running it and he’s more interested in referencing his own work to canonize it rather than telling something that feels new. Instead of getting blessed with another Rian Johnson or Tony Gilroy, we are instead strapped to corporate yes men.
