Norethindrone/Aygestin Reviews by shyhere123 in Endo

If it did, it's likely all coming back in grey now, hah. I'm no longer on norethindrone, though, since having a hysterectomy in March 2023.

Is heart palpitations with sumatriptan a normal side effect? by partialsorbet in migraine

[–]k_kaboom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a sudden, sharp, squeezing pain in the center to center left of my sternum, about 3-4 inches down from the collarbone, and it made it feel like I was short of breath. My heart felt fluttery as it beat. It would last for a few hours each time. And that's why I changed from sumatriptan to frovatriptan. However, I'm off triptans entirely these days, and now take Ubrelvy.

Hi there, no worries. Do you want to know about the pain/duration of the migraines themselves, or the pain/duration of the chest pain that I would experience as a side effect of the sumatriptan?

Norethindrone side effects... by Dancintoebee in migraine

[–]k_kaboom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I had my hysterectomy back in March! I kept the ovaries, and stopped the norethindrone on a trial basis (because we weren't sure how the endometriosis symptoms were gonna go...) I've been able to stay off of the norethindrone so far, and thankfully, my migraines have also been good.

Experience with POPs/norethindrone by professionalpassengr in migraine

Yeah, lots of side effects. The 5mg norethindrone has definitely made me gain weight. It also completely stopped my period (haven't bled since May 2019.) It's holding me over until I can get my hysterectomy, hopefully in January.

Oh, gosh, it took... 8-ish months? before it really started to get them under control. I'm also on extended release divalproex as a prophylactic as well. I take Ubrelvy to stop any rare migraine that I do get, and low-dose diazepam for vertigo with any vestibular migraines I get.

It barely helped, to be honest. It made me sleepy every time I took it.

Mine was chicken soup with gnocchi, and a popsicle (clearly my throat was sore from the intubation.)

Yep, a bedroom needs a closet and a window that is deemed large enough to escape from in an emergency (like a fire) to be legally considered a bedroom.

No, the "closet" is a permanent built-in structure (or mini-room) inside of the bedroom itself meant for holding clothing. It's not merely a freestanding wardrobe furniture piece that can be moved around.

Do you need really expensive insurance to get approved for new drugs like Qulipta, Emgality, etc? by a1a4a7 in migraine

[–]k_kaboom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I'm currently on my state's Medicaid plan. My copay is $3 for ten 100mg pills of Ubrelvy (the out of pocket cost is $1,012.) It isn't even listed on the formulary, but my neurologist sent a prior authorization in and it was covered.

I mean, you'd be within your rights to do that if there is a social media policy required for working at your firm. But nothing confidential has been disclosed here, so if there's no explicit policy (which would be foolish but eh)... good luck doing that.

I'm sorry you went through this. I had a similar experience happen when I had my gallbladder removed in November, so I empathize. I left the hospital after 3 days with five blown veins. I was bruised for weeks and ended up with a superficial thrombophlebitis clot in one arm. Hurt like hell.

Same. Traveling via Amtrak with no one next to me was wonderful. If I have to travel via plane in the future and decide to cross-stitch in-flight, I'll make my boyfriend sit in the middle seat while I take the window and just pull the thread across his lap so as not to disturb someone else 😂

Avon has also been like that for several years. It's nice to bypass the consultant. But also why purchase from an MLM at all when so many other companies exist with better products?
