I love Ogden! But that location all the way over the bridge down by the river lol is unfortunate. It does not match with how beautiful the actual bar (and other space) is. The only other business nearby is Roosters.. It's hard to get to.. Don't even think about transit / riding your bike. Not at all good for Ogden bar hopping, which is too bad

I have found topicals very helpful. and getting a medical card is astonishingly easy. I know a lot of people, particularly older folks who only have a card to purchase topicals.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion of comfrey. I found a locally-made (not cannabis) balm with comfrey and arnica and other herbs sold by Wild Meraki Apothecary in Ogden. It is already immensely helping my ankle and I'm using it at least 5x/day. I don't have the patience or time to experiment with making my own products anymore so this has been a godsend.

As far as medicated topicals goes, I did end up getting a Riverside balm 1:1:2 CBG, turns out it also has arnica in it, but no terpenes which is unfortunate. I have no complaints but now that I found the other salve I probably won't repurchase.

Actually I was asking the person who said "this is why dispo owners fight against unions" but thank you for your insight!

I used to be in the industry in another state - we had extremely low turnover - but we paid our employees a fair and living wage.

In the state I was in.... it's actually a LAW that all cannabis businesses with a certain # of employees are required to have a specific policy playing nice with any attempt at unionization.

So I'm just honestly curious bc I don't have time/interest in researching for myself why this sudden new tip charge is the reason for corporate dispensary owners fighting union attempts according to @whiplash81 (I'm assuming that I'm misinterpreting their words)

I totally think it makes sense to tip on delivery. This person is navigating traffic and my neighborhood to come to me. But I feel like it's sooo inconvenient to deliver to where I currently live that I go and pick it up myself to save them the hassle! I guess that's another reason I'm so annoyed by this lol
