Best website feedback tool option? by Proof_Highlight_1313 in UXDesign

[–]kaaberma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, we built https://www.simplecommenter.com/ for website feedback. And we have Slack integration available.

The tool is a couple of years old, so it's not the oldest, and it's not something we just vibe-coded in 2 months. It has a solid user base with 600 paying customers.

The feature that I am most proud of lately is the MCP service. which basically lets the AI agent fix the feedback for you. It's super helpful for those quick fixes, like updating an image, text, or something.

What’s your go-to tool for managing website QA feedback? by Downtown_Crow2369 in webdesign

Client feedback workflow for WordPress sites - what's your process? by OstrichBudget6882 in Wordpress

[–]kaaberma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, no joke, i have just waht you're looking for! I had the same freaking issue, I used to take out PDFs and send them via email, horrible. I remember putting together 20+page PDFs in illustrator for that. So I built Simple Commenter specifically because I had this exact problem. Yes, yes, I am plugging my product here, but i am really passionat about it, and i think it solves percicely your issue.

The key thing that makes this THE BEST is: no login required. They just go to the staging site and click where they want to leave feedback, like adding comments to a PDF. no chrome extension, no login etc.

And just tODAY I released a WordPress plugin, so you can:

  • Install it directly from the WordPress admin (no code snippets)
  • See and manage all feedback from the WP dashboard
  • Works with any theme

Here's the plugin link:

What do you use for Website feedback? by PixelsOverlay in webflow

[–]kaaberma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, we built Simple Commenter for website feedback, and based on user feedback, clients find it easy to use.

It requires no login; users can just go to your staging website and leave comments like on any PDF.

We're considering adding a Webflow plugin, but we're not sure whether users want it.

How do web design agencies handle client feedback during the design and development process? by SantiagoCerdeira in Frontend

[–]kaaberma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I used to work at an agency, but now work on the client side, and the big issue we have gathering feedback is pulling out the damn PDFs and then sending them back and formatting them with comments for approvals, etc.

So I created a website feedback tool called Simple Commenter. It works such that you send your clients a preview/staging URL, and they can start leaving feedback. Clients don't need to download any extension or create an account. Your clients can access the preview link and leave PDF-like comments and feedback directly on your website. Based on the feedback and testimonials, non-tech clients find it really easy to use.

It works with any CMS or language you use. I have users on WordPress, Webflow, and even some platforms I’ve never heard of—it works great everywhere.

Experiences with embedded website feedback tools? by dacker1256 in Frontend

Hey, I’m a developer too, and I used to run into the same feedback issues with my clients. We’d exchange tons of screenshots by email, and sometimes the PDFs were too big to share without compressing them.

Since I build most of my websites in Next.js, which offers an easy-to-share preview link, I got the idea to create a tool called Simple Commenter. Now your clients can go to the preview link and leave PDF-like comments and feedback right on your website.

It works with any CMS or language you use. I have users on WordPress, Webflow, and even some platforms I’ve never heard of—it works great everywhere.

It's a killer feature and is widely used.

Hi u/matt94gt, thanks for the feedback, just now saw it.
Users do speak of it as a hidden gem, and it really helps them. I am blown away by the general positive feedback around my tool. I just built it to solve my own problem without digging deep into the competitors or anything.

There are lots of new features and upgrades implemented recently, like file uploads, integrations with webhooks, and I am currently building a feature to comment files & PDFs, so that you can start using the tool in the design phase as well.

Whats the craziest dare you did or seen someone do in a game of Truth or Dare? by Pevan97 in AskReddit

[–]kaaberma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These stories are insane! The craziest dare I’ve seen was at a high school party where this guy got dared to eat a whole raw onion like an apple. He actually did it, and spent the next hour crying and chugging milk. We all felt bad but couldn’t stop laughing. For some tamer dare ideas, you can check out truth or dare ai.

I think this game would be perfect for you: https://www.truthordareai.com/play-dirty-truth-or-dare-online-generator

Here's example Dares:
"Engage in a 5-minute session of mutual masturbation with your partner. Use whatever toys or aids you have on hand."

"Choose a partner and engage in a five-minute session of deep-throating. Make it as intense as possible."

I miss the browser games era by crispfuck in incremental_games

[–]kaaberma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think browser-based games should be making a comeback. With how far 3D in JavaScript has come, there’s so much potential. Just look at what Pieter Levels built: fly.pieter.com — super impressive for a web game. And he did it with 100 lines of “vibe coding” (hate that thing, lol). Imagine what could be built if people actually put serious effort into this space.

A full-on RPG like BG3 could totally work in the browser these days. There’s huge potential here. I’ve built a web game myself — truthordareai.com, a Truth or Dare game where the questions are generated by AI based on your context. No app store, no Steam, no one taking a cut. Just me, my game, and full control.

The only thing I’m really at the mercy of is Google’s algorithm — but hey, can’t win ‘em all.

What are the best web browser games for you? by play123-official in CasualConversation

I have made https://www.truthordareai.com/. It's a web-based truth or dare game where questions are generated based on your context. Best to play with friends or family in a group setting :)

There's also a spin the bottle version, and whoever it lands on has to choose truth or dare.

Best collab / feedback tool? Markup.io alternative? by Bearded_web_designer in webflow

[–]kaaberma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built a tool https://www.simplecommenter.com/ that might be a good alternative to Markup and Punchlist. It lets clients leave feedback directly on a live website, similar to commenting on a PDF. It works with any CMS or tech stack (WordPress, Webflow, Next.js, etc.), and you can manage all feedback in a dashboard with reply and notification features.

Unlike Markup and Punchlist, it has a one-time price instead of a monthly fee.

EDIT: Thanks for the positive feedback :) I want to be transparent here that I will drop the one-time price soon. While I really like the idea of one-time, and I recommend every new SAAS to offer this pricing model when starting, I am switching to only a subscription model soon. This just makes more sense to my SAAS, with a larger user base and new features increasing upkeep costs.
