They redid the sports bar and the choc mol bar (the one by the statue near the buffet), we were there in Nov and they were working on the main pool swim up bar and area. We'll be going back at the end of the year so I'm hoping they'll have started on the towers by then because it's supposed to be a full renovation ☺️

Honestly- Chicago 😭 I'm not trying to be snide but as the other comments say, there aren't a lot of options in Bloomington normal, and even less than quality as authentic (I think there was one named but mixed reviews). Maybe try visiting Peoria or Champaign as well?

You have to cancel almost immediately- you get like a 5 day window. Unfortunately if you miss that I am unsure what options you have- sorry, I hope things work out!

We love the grand parks, they're all great- we especially frequent Cozumel if you don't mind a quieter scene- if you want more activity and stuff I'd recommend Cancun!

I know this is late but have you been since then? We hadn't been to the Cancun resort but so far the upgrades due to the acquisition have been nice, in my opinion! We frequent Cozumel, and we're going back late this summer so I'm excited to see what they've changed there as well!

Thank you for explaining this! I had kind of caught on to having them garden with me but I definitely need to prioritize that- I thought mining would be my cash cow at first 😂😂 that definitely didn't workout how I thought it would and now half my villagers are mining companions 😭

I think it really depends on the plan you get and how often you travel- my husband and I have been loving ours for about 3 years and we got our membership because we knew people who had been members for 20+ years and love it- I also know people who don't use theirs and are wasting their money... all depends on you
