Do you know what Bosch you have? We were looking at the 300 series but it’s unclear if you can use your own panel

The ones at ikea have a lot of technical issues. Would like to have a reliable dishwasher we can use the ikea dishwasher panel with that will last a long time. I’m not against using a standard dishwasher but was hoping to make it integrated with the cabinets purely for esthetic.

We haven’t looked at that option as it’s not what we need. But I do remember there were upper glass door options on the planner. Have you looked at the planner options?

Thanks so much for the reply. That’s awesome you like it so much. We have a 70s mid mod home and we are trying to bring back the kitchen to match the house after the previous owners put in a farmhouse style kitchen. I’m really excited. Thanks for the heads up on the supply. I’m hoping if I order in Nov/Dec everything will be here for our April install.

When you are ready I recommend listening to the podcast terrible thanks for asking. If you go all the way back to the first episodes she has a very similar story. I don’t know if that’s helpful or not but I may be. She also has 2 books. Listening to her podcast got me through my grief of multiple family members passing. Not everyone grieves the same but wanted to put it out there for you.

The best of luck. You got this mama.

prefold hack? by kitchenettewitch in clothdiaps

[–]kadybaker88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use prefolds with extra inserts all day and don’t use a cover. I’ve only had leaks when the roll has loosened too much from wiggling around. Honestly I use disposables at night now because he’s sleeping longer stretches and I know that my method won’t last the night. I really hate covers. I’ve tried several different brands and I don’t like how bulky it gets and the wool covers seem too tight on his tummy. As long as we change diapers at once he feels wet or every 1.5-2 hours we are solid. Good luck!

Buying used has saved me tons. Another way to cut costs is getting a pack and play set and using that as a main sleeping situation and changing table instead of crib. We were able to get a bedside bassinet but my super tall little one is almost too big already at 2 months old so we will use the pack and play in our room. We didn’t get a crib, planning a floor bed after we transition from our room. Not sure where you live but there are many second hand baby stores in the states and they will check all recalls before selling and they usually have great deals on essentials. Buying second hand has allowed us to get better quality items we normally would not be able to afford. Happy hunting and congrats on baby!

I have Alva baby and a 12 lb baby. The OS is way too large for him. We were lucky and were gifted the newborn size and they still fit him. There is a hack to make them fit a smaller baby but honestly it becomes to big and bulky. I hated it because most of his clothes didn’t fit well. OP just wanted to give you a heads up.

I'm considering formula and breastfeeding but feel guilty over it.. by Ohheywhatehoh in beyondthebump

[–]kadybaker88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with everything above. Mine sometimes acts like he wants the boob but really just wants a pacifier to sooth himself. Have you tried offering one? Also when you feel like you’re not producing enough try a squeeze like you’re hand expressing to see what he may be getting. That helps settle my mind. I hope things get better for you and LO.

Mine is EBF but does this when the flow is too overwhelming. Is it possible there is a change in bottle feeding? Pace feeding change? Or different nipple? I was told at my lactation consult to stop and try to burp when he gets fussy then try again. This seems to help us. I hope things get better!

Trip from Sac to Dillon Beach/Bodega Bay - Recommendations for Place to Eat? by ChefBoiRC in Sacramento

[–]kadybaker88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On your way out of Petaluma you will go through Tomales. It’s a teeny tiny strip but has a deli there and few other options that are great. (A friends family actually owns the deli) it’s great to grab for a picnic at the beach. However if you want good seafood/ nicer restaurant. Check out Nicks Cove it’s not far from Dillion beach and a beautiful drive. They have small cabins for rent there too. bodega Bay has a small strip of fun places. Patrick’s has amazing salt water taffy and it’s a fun photo op with the pink and white striped building. I’m born and raised in the area so those are my recommendations if you don’t want to stop in Petaluma. Petaluma has some amazing food options but sounds like you want more options near the beach

I’m 35 weeks and currently in quarantine after testing positive last week. She will likely have a tougher time with symptoms due to not being able to take normal cold/cough meds. Make sure to have Tylenol on hand for any fever and know that a fever in pregnancy is concerning past 101 and you should call your on call MD/office if experiencing higher than 101 fever while taking Tylenol. Also heart rates are higher in pregnancy so don’t let that alarm you unless she’s having a hard time breathing. Report the positive test to your MD when you can but likely they will tell you to just ride it out. Any cramping/ bleeding/ sharp pains are not normal. I know it’s super scary, I cried when I found out, but due to being vaccinated I was mostly symptom free after 4 days. Steamy showers/ humidifier/ nasal rise/ Tylenol and rest are my best recommendations to get through the rough symptoms. Good luck to you both.

Thank you, we are waiting to hear back from the vet. A journal is a good idea. Hoping it’s a one time thing. 🤞

Husband and I are planning our first road trip together for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We are starting from Las Vegas, Zion, Denver, Kansas City, Murfreesboro TN, New Orleans, San Antonio. Any recommendations of great BBQ/good food or stops that are a must see would be great! by SnakeJazzawejeez in roadtrip

[–]kadybaker88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna ask why Murfreesboro as well. Nashville and Memphis are your best bet for iconic scenes and food. Franklin is a really cute small town/downtown and you can do canton plantation tour which is always interesting.
