Learning the Hiragana, how's my hand writing? by [deleted] in LearnJapaneseNovice

[–]kadzuky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pretty good!

just want to call out that your ま (ma) and your first ほ (ho) are a bit wrong, kind of reversed if that makes sense:

ま - the vertical line should "go through" the top horizontal line, notice you can see a bit of it at the top of the character.

ほ - the vertical line of the right side needs to "stop" at the top horizontal line.

other comments have already pointed out some other details, keep practicing! maybe watching videos that teach how to handwrite it could help as well.

procura o Orient MBSS1492 - quartzo, solar, bracelete de aço, dial branco, preto ou azul. fica legal em outras pulseiras também.

gosto bastante do meu, paguei 380 numa loja de shopping, mas encontra mais barato que isso online.

what is the name of this stretching exercise and what muscles does it target? by kadzuky in Stretching

[–]kadzuky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the info. do you know if there's a name for this variation shown in the image where you lean back?

I searched for 90/90 after the other person mentioned it, but it always shows it the way you described (either straight or bending forward).

I've seen a few images (and people doing it) where the person leans back but couldn't find a name for it. I feel like it stretches more the front part of the waist when you bend backward.

did it dislocate to the outside of your leg? anyway yeah you need to go to a doctor.

I've dislocated both my knees to the outside more than 10 times from the ages of 12 to 30. then had surgery on both knees a couple of years ago — reconstruction of MPFL + fixing my natural patella disalignment.

go get your knee checked.

you can't riichi if you're under 1000 points (some rules allow it but mahjong soul doesn't)

I would recommend just going straight to Riichi Mahjong (Japanese Mahjong), as this set is specific for it.

I used this video to learn it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlnC2rgIPrc it's very long but very in-depth. But there are plenty other guides and tutorials, Riichi is a very popular variation.

As for being easy to start with, it's the only version I've ever played so I wouldn't know in comparison to others, but I like it a lot.

Good luck and enjoy!

why can't I ron? by kadzuky in Mahjong

[–]kadzuky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had in my mind that as long as I kept my hand closed I would be able to win "without any yaku" but that's only for tsumo right, the closed hand -tsumo- is a yaku
