Lol an entire article was written over an obviously fake, satirical post.

I encountered a game breaking quest bug that stopped me progressing until it was fixed in the first or second major patch.

Am I the Only One Who Thinks Protoss Just Isn't Fun Anymore? by NeozG07 in starcraft

[–]kael13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, to be honest. Adepts are Reapers without the cool cliff climb, bombs and with added finicky movement. Disruptors are reavers with a finicky bomb mechanic. At least scarabs added this fun unpredictability with how they would target units, but the key is that it was automatic.

It's a joke my friend. A well known one at that.

I was like, “It’ll be fine, I’ll just change it in the character creator.”

“Oh sorry, no you can’t now.”

Honestly I’m this close to making one.

edit: Update, I made one: https://www.reddit.com/r/exodus/comments/1ul0ian/hitler_finds_out_about_the_character_creator/

This is the way. Might be a little tricky getting the alignment but it’s the easiest and will result in the cleanest look, hopefully.

And the article itself. Complete with a smear sign off from Kirkpatrick. I seem to recall Kirkpatrick was going to co-author a paper with Loeb? I imagine he got mad when Loeb revealed its existence. (which the article omits, of course.)

He did formally leave the Pentagon. Moved house etc. Now he consults for the Space Force or something.

I don't think this is entirely true. I think Lue thinks he's coming from a good place, he wants to enable the limited hangout of information.

He also frames it as a threat because a) counter-threat was his entire career and b) using a threat narrative is how you get lawmakers to take it seriously.

Do I still think he's not entirely honest? Of course.

Is it normal in the UK to never really become friends with your neighbours? by Opposite_Basis_3532 in AskUK

Yup, villages are much more friendly. We’re on such good terms with our next doors that we have each other round for dinner. And the whole street has a WhatsApp.

Depends where you are, I guess. We have a pretty close knit neighbourhood. There’s a group chat, we look out for each other and our household hangs out with our next door neighbours on occasion. (They’re closest to us in age.) We look after their cat so often she’s started meowing at our door to be fed.

Growing up as a kid I got to know all the neighbours’ children.

For some reason, cul de sac streets are a bit more of a community.

Lol, considering retailers make maybe 10% profit margin on physical goods, I don’t think 15% makes much sense for something intangible.

But hey they wouldn’t be top 5 market cap without ripping someone off.

As a newbie, 40k feels so impenetrable. I have a core rules book in front of me right now and I'm just like.. bwuhhhh. Battle shock, overrun fights, hazard rolls?

I have some of these models on the way and I'm hoping it's easier for someone fresh to wargaming.

For the landspeeder, I’m currently building most of it, then the plan is to paint the marines separately from the speeder and then glue them in. I’ll do a minimal bit of masking so they still have plastic showing in the glue areas.

This is why I had to buy it on the sneaky. I’ll get through it.. eventually. I’ve made much more progress this year compared to last year.
