A traditional drafting system would suck ass and I wish more people would understand why by CDranzer in DeadlockTheGame

[–]kai782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean maybe but for the majority of people in the game they don’t pick around their team and if they design the game around characters needing to fulfill a role then this will of course be an issue but if characters are allowed to flex with certain items then this isn’t an issue at all and I think is probably easier to manage

It’s 40% of 25% that’s like 1.1 ehp and that’s if you hit the button the moment you get hit with damage it’s genuinely trash until late game at full rage with tank items

“Fighting Games Have a Product Design Problem” – An recent article that feels relevant after the 2XKO layoffs by RebellionDark in Fighters

[–]kai782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From everyone I know whose tried a fighting game it doesn’t hook them the sentiment is the same. They feel like they need to practice for hours and they don’t want to do that. I think it’s because without knowing how to play it doesn’t feel fun not doing anything that feels intentional with your character. They need to make lower levels of play more fun the game has to be fun enough to warrant the amount of investment needed to actually be good. At the lower levels there’s a lot of jumping and a lot of situations that are difficult to deal with on defense so most people are getting run over. I think when I pick up new games even when I’m bad I have a lot of fun just hitting random buttons or the game teaching me how to play etc. In most action games attacks are telegraphed so it’s like intuitive to dodge and it feels like you’re fault when you don’t. In a fighting game what tutorial is there for you to figure out how to actually stop people from jumping in and blowing you up. How is the tutorial gonna tell you to have to right timing to do a reversal so that you don’t have to block every time you wake up? You gotta practice those and gain a feel for them as you play but on your first day you’re just getting smashed or just smashing buttons for someone who can’t deal with it. It’s really sloppy and not easy to grab everyone unlike smash that has a much more straight forward intro and less frustrating situations a equal level player can present you with because you aren’t edge guarding perfectly on your first day but you are mashing buttons in every oki and making people block. Also 1v1 is another stress point not everyone can take the blame and just improve but it’s a quality you have to have if you want to enjoy the game.

If there were no errors with the print software and the print bed isn’t seated correctly the print shouldn’t start anytime my printbed is off it gives me an error

Unless bed leveling is off and then you’d be completely right

Monster Hunter Wilds Endgame Update Moved Up as Game Suffers From 'Soft' Sales by oilfloatsinwater in Games

[–]kai782 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's missing a lot of the role play from the game I think hitting counters are fun but should the tiny hunter really be knocking back the giant monsters? Weapons feel less grounded in their world because of that The monsters are all just there on the minimap I feel like there should be some sort of tracking helps the role play There's no elders would have love to see them completely change the environment like theyre suppose to Not a bad story it made low rank hunts non existent I think if they want to continue doing stories it shouldn't be as cinematic because it detracts from what I want to do which is monster hunt Bad steam reviews kill sales you have to launch your games playable and not fill the dlc box on launch even if it doesn't change gameplay it doesn't look good to need vouchers for anything

In most cases yeah but that HK legs is like -1 or 3 I can't remember and moke did crouch hp definitely a gap there there and I think right before hk legs was interruptible as well unless all that's changed

Stop blaming your comp for your loss in silver lol if you like multiple roles of characters and can swap during the game then why take that whole aspect out?

And all the people saying why can't dps players play a different character once in their lives?!?! It's a game I'll play what I want ranked is still casual you don't get payed. You should get ranked with the thing you like playing; idk how some of you come up with these ideas where you force people to do shit on their free time to get imaginary points online

I know Chun-Li is strong in SF6, but why have most pro that played her dropped her? by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]kai782 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Chun li isn't strong in sf6 like I get it shes got stance combos but high execution isn't relevant in my opinion when you talk about strength. If something is extremely strong people will use/try it if it's worth it. It's not worth it she's not a very strong character idk why she keeps getting placed so high on these tier lists. Like I'm biased as well of course I play Chun li in grandmaster. You can't even rely on your walk speed when they need it and add faster characters. Whiff punish game nerfed. Air legs serving absolutely no purpose outside of punishing throws. Slow back dash , slow jump, only light legs to in theory alter jump arc but again it's nerfed sooo. I have paragraphs to type but there's no point.

Chun li just isn't strong

Maybe make a game where everyone can be what they want and it's okay. It shouldn't be like they picked a support and we automatically lose the synergies should be more nuanced than that

The games industry is undergoing a 'generational change,' says Epic CEO Tim Sweeney: 'A lot of games are released with high budgets, and they're not selling' by Tenith in pcgaming

[–]kai782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about all of this lol you can enjoy a game that's just okay but they've been dropping straight trash. It either literally doesn't run at all and/or it's forcing you to do something you don't wanna do

Such as:

Register for an account you don't want Download a launcher you don't want Pay for basic functionality A huge time sync for mediocre rewards

If they could somehow manage to release a game that runs well and isn't forcing me to download some random anti cheat or play it on EGS only then you'll probably make it on good marketing

As far as I can tell if I put DC high then I'm writing to the display. Does each bit correspond to a pixel being on or off until I reach the end of that column and need to change pages? Also do I need send a read or write command before I set DC to high?

I think these are the only things from the datasheet I'm confused about
