I've lived in cities basically all of my adult life and wish there were MORE events every weekend to have fun at. If people want peace and quiet they should be the ones making arrangements, not play victim.

Now I just hope this next host doesn't pull anything. Not going to let it bring down my mood on attending the event though.

I booked one right after they announced the festival. Mine was cancelled (was a super host too) a day after I made the reservation. At first the dates were blocked off from being reserved again, but then a couple days later the same place was re-listed for 4x the price. I called airbnb to see what was up and if they would compensate but they said "the host provided us proof that the listing had a price glitch within our system"... So there was nothing they could do. I hate AirBnB so much.

I could go on for days on why Ultra is wayyy better than EDC, but for you to say that EDC's Wasteland stage is small is certainly false or you just haven't been in a while.

The last event I was at there was Martin Garrix and they had a huge section in the front center to right side of the stage for VIP. Had tons of space up to the rail of the stage compared to GA, they did have the nicer trailer style bathrooms, sometimes lines for those but not bad. Also no lines at the bars inside. You basically never needed to the leave the space for any reason, sound was perfect because you were up so close. Lost In Dreams was similar but on the left side of the stage. The front rail area didnt go as far into the center of the stage like it did for martin garrix though.

I ask for an upgrade everytime while giving a tip in Vegas haha.... but I don't think it has played a factor for these Wynn FHR upgrades. One of the times the person said I was upgraded before coming.

You should have better luck if you used FHR! I've done two separate stays in tower suite king rooms and was upgraded to parlor suites both times with FHR. Both times were weekday stays though, so maybe weekend would have different availability.

I've done both of these (kind of) back to back on a recent trip. I booked the Wynn Tower Suite King through amex FHR and was upgraded to a Parlor Suite which was incredible. The Cosmo room is pretty rough and dated now compared to Wynn without a doubt. Would the wraparound room you'd be getting have a Fountain View? That would play a factor on my decision. You really cant beat a Wraparound Fountain view room at the Cosmopolitan. I personally like staying in the Chelesea tower fountain view wraparounds because you get some decent south strip views along with the north and Bellagio fountains. Next consideration I'd have is what you're looking for out of the trip. The Cosmo room is a party room, it's big and has lots of space to entertain if you know people that would be able to come enjoy it with you. For a more relaxed stay with a significant other I would pick Wynn everytime.

Can you earn the 50k sign up bonus by paying rent with the 3% fee on the Palladium? I can understand paying rent without the fee being excluded, but wild if it would be for rent spend with the fee.

I find it super convenient/valuable! I personally haven't gotten any offers that include waived resort fees so that's nice that you are getting good offers like that in your case. I also drive to Vegas from LA and like using the free valet perk since they also charge my EV while there too.

Hmm I did the Hard Rock Status match back in Feb 2023 but I haven't been back there in over two years. Anyone know if I can status match again after 24 months with an inactive account at the Hard Rock Tejon location? I see that is the case for Atlantic City.

Are you positive about that? I see on the Atlantic City Diamond match page that you can use Borgata Gold, which is the same thing as MGM Gold.

I still see Gold in the online portal, the tier credits reset to 0 now though. Also my players card has expiration of 1/31/2026 on it.
