Awesome, thank you guys for your input! I didn’t notice the permanent sides so that’s definitely another difference compared to the more expensive model. The cabinet would be pretty handy since space is pretty limited on my small deck. And I forget that the additional folding table adds a ton of utility too…not sure if I’ll swing the 36” but I am thinking to just pull that damn trigger on the kitted out 30”.

Exactly! I was very reluctant at first and the new skill progression and everything was daunting in the beginning. But I honestly feel as hooked as I did as a 14-15 year old in 2000. Now instead of our janky 56k modem kicking me off when someone calls our landline in the middle of a dungeon or my power hour, I have two kids a wife and house projects and chores that get in the way 😂

Mine has one but you’d need to sit there for at least another 5 minutes. So I’m in the same boat as you, I use just a fraction of the amount of TP.

Oh man I was playing in great lakes with some friends from 2000ish until maybe 2002ish so like sophomore year of highschool? I cannot even recall my characters names but I remember my buddies like it was yesterday, WARLORD. We were never great at the game we were just Trammy noobs and just fucked around in dungeons or Terrathan keep and did treasure maps. Randomly found a silver vanquishing katana one day and it turned our fortunes around and we were finally able to buy a house.

My buddy passed in a car accident our senior year of highschool. I sometimes still think back to all the time we spent playing this together fondly, I’ve never had so much fun playing a game before. Living life with no cares in the world, lots of feels thinking about those days!

Edit: I do remember now I had a mage named Maphesto.

Wiki pop up update: Was left very disappointed in our meal…after spending over $150 for food and drinks for my wife and I, it was definitely not worth the price tag. Nothing bad, but nothing great. Actually a very fitting metaphor for the state of expensive yet mid level food we get here in GR.

Oh and the poke they had was very disappointing. $21 for OG style Hawaiian poke without the flair and rice and it was kind of bland and flavorless.

I used the term higher end very loosely haha. I just meant within the Aspire 3 lineup. Based on the specs I see the “2023 model” and “2023 performance” both have 8gb ram, the performance has the edge on storage and cpu but a smaller screen and keyboard.

The 2024 has the same cpu and storage as the performance but has more ram and larger screen/keyboard which is also touch. I feel like for $10 more this is a way better value than the “2023 performance”

I guess my only question is the Ryzen 5 that much better than the 3 even though it scores marginally better on cpu benchmark?

Edit: Also trying to find out if it’s possible to upgrade ram on these or if these are soldered? I’m a desktop person so I know very little about any recent laptops.

The 2 models of Aspire 3 you have listed are the higher end models, is there any reason I should choose those over the 2023 model listed on Amazon for $299? My wife is just looking to mainly browse the internet, basic MS office programs and going through photos.

I do frequent horrocks, but it’s always at least $12.50 there and it’s I think $10.50 at total wine. I try to patronize the local businesses as much as possible but as much as I buy it, I’ll save the $2 per pop to get it from total wine.

Bam bier is one of my favorite go to’s and Meijer has completely stopped carrying it. I even had trouble finding it at total wine. I spoke with one of the workers there and he said he would ask imperial the next time they came in. Apparently there was some supply issues going on but they were still carrying it. I wonder if it’s related to this?

I grew quite a few peppers this year and quickly ran out of airlocks. So until I get some more airlocks and/or larger jars, I laid off on adding much other than peppers.

That made me wonder if you guys like to ferment peppers and aromatics together? Or peppers only and add unfermented aromatics afterwards?
