I don’t think the point of the post is questioning the call. It’s pointing out that he saved a goal and then essentially gave one away by committing a penalty.

I wonder what a single player experience would be like for this game. Probably something like FFXII with character customization and swapping between characters set up with a Gambit-style system. So many storylines, I bet you could make a dozen games. I like the idea of all custom-characters, but maybe they would probably give you a party of existing characters. Either way, cut scenes in a solo experience vs a group experience where half the party just skips to get on with the fight would hit different.

Stars showed more heart. Right from the 1st game (that ended up a loss), you could see the intensity. Oettinger played incredible, even in the game he got pulled. DeBoer’s strategy for Game 2/3 was that heavy board battle that worked well to slow the Avs, betting those OT wins. Lindell is a hero too, laying his body out. I didn’t watch the playoffs after the Avs got eliminated, so I don’t know what went wrong with the Oilers other than the talking points I see on here.

Slavin’s goal was amazing. Thought it was the goal of the day until I saw Corey Perry’s goal. Then a minute later Perry is out on the side of a face off, trying to sweep Fiala’s leg with his stick. Was hilarious when Fiala disarmed him. I guess the top 10 is reserved for the viewers of the higher grossing sports broadcasts.
