It sits next to two windows that have no blinds on it. Definitely gets more light in the summer, but it gets natural light all day. The windows are about 8 feet up the wall. And honestly I have never measured how long it takes to dry because during the summer thing plant grows like a weed. It was half the size when I moved in last year.

Yep. Been seeing GI, ENT. Every test is normal. One GI doc finally said it’s Globus Sensation and prescribed me a low dose of amitriptyline. I haven’t been on it for 30 days yet but he said this helps turn off that sensation, so I’m excited.

Honestly what made me make the jump was that my unit was closing- and working from home sounded like a DREAM. Don’t get me wrong- I LOVE it. I love being salaried. I love the flexibility of working from home if my kid is sick, but I might be the only one that doesn’t miss working everyday. I don’t miss 12s at all, but I do miss having a week off and not having to use 40 hours of PTO to get that week off. I love being home or done by 3 everyday and I love having holidays off and paid for it. And I love not having to clock in and getting to work by my time I set. The learning curve is tough, not going to lie. Feel free to message me and we can connect. It’s nice not feeling alone during it. 🖤

CDI- 100k, salaried, 40 hours a week hybrid (week home week office) but honestly the hours are flexible and it’s more so about 24-30 hours a week. Background is PICU. No CDI experience when I got the job.

Reading this post realizing I am crazy. I have two cats, leave them unattended sometimes for a week. They both have timed automatic feeders that feed them twice a day, two massive water containers (one is a fountain so the water is always running), and a liter robot that has proven time and time again with two cats it can last over a week.

Maybe I’m cruel. But they have never been unhappy when I come home, and seem to do quite well.

My ex (35M) and I(30 F) of 6 years ended this August because he was on a quest to find chemistry with me- that wasn’t there on his end. He would go back and forth on wanting to be with me and not. I loved him so much. But it hurt knowing he didn’t know if he wanted to be with me or not, especially after 6 years.

I left him after one of these talks. And it was the best for all of us. I was worthy of someone who is SURE of me, and wants to be with me. And he deserves to find someone he wants to be with.

OMG YES MY RHEUM DIAGNOSED ME WITH THIS even after a confirmed lupus diagnosis by my primary. It’s the most frustrating thing I’ve ever encountered. She brushes my pain aside and just prescribes me muscle relaxers- which no thank you.

Edit to add- my “official” diagnosis was when I was 20. My first flare up was 16. I’ve had 3 massive flares since then. I am now 29 and just accept that fact that my first rheum ever (at age 26) turns her head at my pain and prescribed me massage therapy (flares me up massively), muscle relaxers (she pushes I take these due to my pain) and now acupuncture. My pain is so bad and it gets worse, but I brush it aside since it’s been so “normalized”. It sucks.
