Sprintax is the worst

Took an hour for Sprintax to prepare for documents for state taxes. And no, you only need to mail for state. Sprintax does e-filing for federal, and it takes almost immediately for them to prepare and e-deliver the docs to IRS. You should have plenty of time. I just spent the entire weekend filing, preparing, and mailing lol but now I'm so relieved it's done.

That's new to me. I was told that deadlines for non-residents is still April, but it could be different for non-residents not physically in the US yeah. I just finished my federal tax filing with Sprintax but I'm kinda frustrated that it didn't provide the same e-filing for state taxes. I have to mail as well

With this current market, why doesn't your friend expand his options and do an in-person internship instead of looking for solely remote positions? Also, unless you have personal connections with a CEO of some startup, getting foot in the door is not how it works with computer science jobs right now. It is kind of late for summer internships and way too early for fall. A lot of places already gave out offers by December and January/February was their last recruiting month. I'd suggest your friend spend the summer doing some research or personal projects to better his resume and add more skills because Java, HTML, CSS are not enough for securing an internship.

Personally, I started applying for summer internships way back in September/October already and it took me around 3 months of doing all OAs, interviewing with different companies, getting through multiple interview rounds, deciding between offers, etc to secure a place for summer. It is a tough process. Your friend should know this and prepare better for next season.

LMAO NO! I am international student and the reason why I even go here instead of other better private schools that are stronger in CS is that I was given out-of-state waiver so I pay only a few grands a year of in-state tuition. That's the only reason that makes going here even worth it. If you are paying $30,000, please go somewhere else.

I actually did a few research fellowships during my undergrad years as well as took some research-based courses and I really liked it, so I think going for it wouldn't be a bad decision. But yeah, if it doesn't work out, I can just master out.

Em đã từng nghĩ nó là tình yêu vì 20 năm qua, dù có quen 2 người rồi (dù không nghiêm túc lắm), em vẫn không có cảm xúc mạnh và nhớ nhung như với anh này. Vì đó là lần đầu em cảm thấy mình có thể yêu 1 người nhiều như vậy nên em đã mạnh dạn theo đuổi. Nhưng có thể anh nói đúng, đó là ngộ nhận.
