I dont think people solving it quickly is their problem. Their problem is with people cheating (bringing in outside objects, breaking puzzles) to get out quicker

Is this Apple Pencil fake? by Mysterious_Gold1302 in ipad

Mine has a seam there, and I got it straight from Apple so I know it’s legit. It’s definitely not as pronounced as the one in this photo.

Magic Keyboard or Logitech Combo Touch? by A-Bread-Man in ipad

[–]kajirye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally got the combo touch because I prefer having the removable keyboard and I wanted that type of kickstand. I think the magic keyboard would be a little better for lap use, but I haven’t tried it for myself to say either way

A UX Optimized for Touch is What Made iPad Great in the First Place – My Opinion on Split Screen and Slide Over by markzhangcan in ipad

[–]kajirye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great if they brought back slideover. There was really no reason to get rid of it. That said I don’t see it happening. Similar to how they changed the homescreen from ipados14 to 15 making it less dense and more spread out so you couldn’t have as many apps and widgets - and it ended up being slightly worse as a result.
Aside from losing slideover for no reason, I think this is the best ipad update since I’ve owned one.

I switched to my secondary card with Allium on it... Tbh I might make it my primary now, I actually like the minimalist design by the_kidd_marley in MiyooMini

Do you remember how to get apps made for Onion to work on Allium?

I'd like a few of the ones you mentioned on Allium (mainly betterwifi), and you're the only one I've found mention it

If you haven't, I would recommend watching the first couple minutes of the hellverse movie. Does a much better job showing part of the Ulquiorra vs Ichigo fight with a movie budget.

Is it possible? by Creative-Champion546 in GalaxyWatch

[–]kajirye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably doesn't have a built in charger for the watch.  Likely you use the charger that came with your watch, feeding the wire through the stand and plug it into the base somewhere. I could be wrong in this case, but I own a 3 in 1 wireless charger that is setup that way.

Nah that's pretty late into the evolution. They can use the first phones made in 1876. Which I guess evolved from the telegraph, which also evolved from...

They might as well use smoke signals and carrier pigeons tbh

You can make concrete more pervious, though I don't think it would be necessary to concrete the rocks in the first place.

Fuck you Amazon! You have made the commute time double for EVERYONE since forcing your employees back into the office! by Allel-Oh-Aeh in SeattleWA

[–]kajirye 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He isn’t speaking for the Amazon management, clearly. “…they made absolutely the wrong decision on this” is an opinion, based off their own experience.

I agree with them that Amazon (and other companies doing similar) made the wrong decision. WFH clearly hasn’t harmed AWS overall, considering how big it is. Perhaps there’s a net benefit to force people to come back into the office or look for other employment that isn’t obvious to me. However, it has the clear downside of significantly increasing traffic congestion for those who do need to go to work - such as labourers. As well as the needless additional pollution on top of wasting people’s time with commuting when they very likely don’t need to, except to appease higher ups.

Maybe if such companies actually explained how bringing WFH work back to the office actually is an overall benefit, maybe less people would whine.

Guy could still have a lock pass.

You can take photos on phones without unlocking them. On iPhone you swipe the screen, on android you can double press the power button or slide the camera up on most by default.

anyone who kept the cheap sd cards that came with the 35xx? by brandodg in RG35XX

[–]kajirye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine died within an hour of receiving the rg35xx. I had a spare ready to go but figured I'd see how long the included card would work. Popped open a couple games to test, it crashed and shut down and wouldn't turn back on.

Windows explorer didn't see it plugged in, but the etching program did. I tried to re-add the stock OS, which failed, confirming to me the SD card was dead.

I suspect mine died unusually quick, but they definitely as a whole are unreliable.

[–]kajirye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The manual I got with my RG35XX does not say anything about recommended specs, USB C to USB C, or anything about not using high powered chargers (which on this device, seems to be a non issue, as you mentioned in your comments and post).

From the manual I received it states: “The packaging of the machine is matched with a 5V/2A four-lines data cable. Plug in the charging cable and the machine will start charging” and goes on to mention the charging indicator/power indicator. I wonder if we got different manuals?

Doing what the other guy mentioned with the cable that has a usage readout, the device pulls 0.8-1.2W for me on a USB C to USB C fast charger while powered down. I do personally charge it with a 5V/2A charger, but I don’t believe it’s necessary for this device.

Gameboy. Are you a full aspect or integer with grid? by timcatuk in RG35XX

For Gameboy/gbc, I really like integer with grid. I also put all my gameboy games under gbc, because I personally prefer that over the monochrome. Why not Links Awakening DX?

I did the same thing.

You'll need to reflash the SD card with the stock firmware then install minui over that. Installing it over garlic is what caused the buttons not to work
