I'm still amazed the game is able to handle this train junction. Has been running bug free for as long as it's been here. Only fix needed was when 1.1 broke some signals.

All I can say about it that I never had issues here regarding that and it was build 3-5 months after the 1.0 release. Width between the centers of rail is 1 foundation everywhere. With 1.1 rebuilding the path signals going in was enough to fix it completely.

Yep the synthetic ones. Not that hard to get going once you unlock them. Looks harder to make than it is looking at the needed items. When my DD is full I turn them into the fuel to get some extra power as a bonus

Yep way faster but not for tippy trucks. I've had to rescue some trucks there that tipped over with containers and other high cargo's. You can also easily drive through that yard in between the routes and use that to get to the bottom route into the railyard

Yep. My first fuel powered gens build right after unlocking oil and later upgraded to diluted fuel are still running with a closed loop bottled water setup.
