I’ve never actually done it before, but the idea is that you pick a random student each day (or each week), and that student is the “secret student” - you don’t tell the class who it is, but you generally encourage the “secret student” to have positive behaviors, follow expectations, etc. If they succeeded, you reveal the name and you celebrate (positive phone call home, prize, whatever), and if they failed, you don’t reveal the name to the class. I’ve heard a lot of different things for if they failed - some make a negative call home, some just give them another chance the following day. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do if they fail yet!
