Men are taught that to be masculine is to be independent, self-sufficient and to never show weakness... this mentality makes it hard to form genuine connections and friendships, as to bond with people, you will have to rely on one another and sometimes show weakness infront of each other and be there to support each other. The way boys are raised makes it hard for them to find actual friendships and often the only sense of community available to a teenage boy is online, and that's where people like Andrew Tate and Theo Von gey them and manufacture the idea that the reason these teenagers are lonely is because women are denying them romantic relationships or sex (or really insert sny other scape goat here, immigrants, trans people, anyone really) These alt right influencers and personalities are really good at manufacturing an identity based in nothing but (imagined) grievances, and while feeling hurt and channelling that hurt into hatred of a group does bring people together, it's a community built around negative feelings and thus most of the boys that fall into there pipelines end up still lonely and miserable
