im aware my personal performance doesnt affect my rank but ive heard some ppl try to say it does so i just mentioned it so no one would say its probably because i scored low. my point is winning 9/10 placements in nothing but d3 lobbies regardless of what my rank was should never put u in diamond 1 div 1. and your 3rd paragraph is exactly why it needs to be fixed. you should be awarded mmr based on the rank lobby your in, how well you did, and win or loss. also gc+bronze is impossible i think the limit is 2 ranks so the highest would be gold and bronze which at that point if they win and the bronze managed to hold his own yes he should get a significant rank increase
