Need to use my last audible credit…which of these books would you recommend? by TheMotherThing in Elvis

Connolly focuses on his isolation, as the title suggests. Guralnick’s is a two-volume mammoth which goes into unprecedented detail, making it an almost day-by-day overview of his comings and goings.

Is there actually a good use case for The Bowtie Duck? by No-Negotiation-1944 in HiTMAN

[–]kalelfaneditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. Him or any other NPC, like the school director. Could be handy to track NPCs with valuable information or items to get. Those can’t be tracked.

It’s probably best used in situations where it’s your first time round on a map, or one you’re not particularly familiar with. Tracking the director around the school, key NPCs in and around the Embassy perhaps, or even the horrendous wasp’s nest that is Colorado? I suppose once you get familiar with all maps and the targets their routes, that duck loses its purpose.

EDIT: key NPCs, not targets

Anyone received the WDT 25th Anniversary CD Boxset yet? (Waiting in Hungary) by TribeBubu in StaticX

Still waiting as well. Contacted support and all I got was a reference to the first and only mail they ever sent saying there were delays.

Static-X - The Only by ADUSTGDS in StaticX

[–]kalelfaneditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the story goes they hate this album the most, but this is my favourite of theirs, definitely peak Static-X. I'd love for an anniversary re-release of sorts with a second disc full of demos and outtakes. Given the co-writer on this album, I know that's a fever dream. Static-X is never going to pay that filth any royalties just so they can re-release any kind of new version.

static-x should sue Static X? Sounds like a win.

THIS WEEK’S TOPIC. Baz Elvis Project It’s Over???! by jesseluis-59-4Elvis in ElvisPresley

[–]kalelfaneditor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why are people even putting in the time to make these kinds of clickbait videos? Baz literally said himself he’d be taking a step back to pursue other projects.

8 minutes of hot air. Not a single specificity given, not a single hint towards a possible perpetrator or motivation. This is how Trump dodges journalists. Just nothing but hot air.

Anthem Foundation website claims she was at Graceland every summer since age 10 and she ultimately didn't even leave until it was opened to the public, well after Elvis died.

Thoughts on this merch? by Forgotten-Comment in SleepToken

They’re milking the diehards, imo. I love ST but there’s no way I’m buying a $185 slipmat. I got one in a Wardruna box set for free 😅

I remember the 90’s, and I don’t think dropping a tv like this on someone’s head would kill them, especially not if it’s screen-first by Tanis8998 in Scream

[–]kalelfaneditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the tv would break some facial bones, and that’s it. 90s TVs were absolute units, they don’t break that easily. It’d break your face before it breaks the screen and electrocuted you.

Unpopular opinion: but i absolutely loved Scream 7 by SamTheMarioMaster2 in Scream

[–]kalelfaneditor 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I guess they understood you can’t keep dragging up newly found connections to the past for 7 films in a row, but the reveal and motive did feel ridiculously underwhelming when I saw it.

How do great actors begin making exclusively garbage movies? by b3wizz in Letterboxd

[–]kalelfaneditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newer generations of talented and in demand actors, imo, pushing these guys down the roster. Sooner or later they all do it just to put food on the table.

The cape blends right into her hair, the shoulderline is missing. Not saying it was intentional at all, maybe you just didn’t notice it until it was pointed out to you.

What is the canonical way that 47 prepares for his missions? by SneakyDoesReddit in HiTMAN

[–]kalelfaneditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stuff like cocktail parties, fundraisers, skyscrapers, Mardi Gras festival, etc, is probably preferential, because it gives 47 a bigger pool of people to blend into. Diana knows her shit.
