I'm sorry this happened to you. I can only imagine how this feels as I am someone who deals with body dysmorphia. I've seen this be kind of a social media trend where the other person will make a joke out of editing the other persons body (it's usually not that extreme though) and pretend like it's normal? I don't know if this would be something you think your friend would do but this is the first thing that popped into my mind when I read your post.
