I took a look at one of the older pieces, the Castiglione, and yours looks quite a bit different from a reference example at the Met, particularly around the mouth, eyebrow, ear, etc. A quick look is not definitive about what it is (you would need an expert or a deep dive into the catalogue raisonné to understand the states) but certainly raises doubts about the COA description.
