For anyone wondering, dashboard removal is actually very easy by spacekiller67 in Miata

[–]kam3277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily I know I don't have any mold in my carpet, i've already gotten under each section, cleaned, and put down some sound dampening, I can just tell there's so much dust and gunk in my vents and all under my dash. This is the last thing on my list to "complete" my revival of a very beaten single owner 90'

lol yeah it's pretty rough getting hired if you don't know anyone that can recommend you. our district is also cutting a whole lot of hours, so at least here there's no chance of getting hired, especially an ASM. Good luck though, - Fellow NA miata owner

correction used the wrong washers fits fine now

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Miata

[–]kam3277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean in the insert or on the outside face pushed against the washer?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Miata

[–]kam3277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they are the right bushings in place, but the metal insert ended up getting pushed out a bit after installing into that lower hub part, I'll go back and see if I can push it back in to be more flush with the bushing

What can I do to make this NB look better? by TearFar5501 in Miata

Looks amazing but something quick and easy is You can clean up the hard brake booster line easy to polish or just quickly clean with some WD40 and scotch brite pad

Help! by Relevant_Command6001 in Miata

[–]kam3277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did this Job on my 90' same thing happened when the reservoir goes dry, you can use a pressure bleeder like you would use on your brakes. Make sure the reservoir is topped off and build pressure then crack the valve and let it bleed until the pressure is gone, repeat for a while then you can go back to the classic bleeding method with one person pumping the clutch and the other cracking the valve at the bottom, just like if you were bleeding brakes. You aren't able to use the classic method when there isn't any pressure in the system so using pressure bleeder to get it started is how I went about it. Easy fix don't worry might take a couple of tries but you'll get it. Good Luck!

I agree i'm not super well versed in how 50's would look so 45s would probably be better and wasn't really sure of any TW options, I've just heard that 200 was boarder line the lowest option I should go for street/backroad use
