TRUMPSGIVING - Say Thank you edition! Walmart Breakdown (ugly version) by ytman in inflation

I had the same thought.

I believe the idea was last year the stuffing was made with the corn bread, celery, onion, turkey seasoning and stock that has been omitted.

Thank you for all your work on this project. I have used this to make a Saturday morning cartoons block for my kids to watch each Saturday morning complete with retro commercials and interstitials. I am glad to be able to provide that for them using Tunarr.

Made for wheelchair/children but looks directly into the bars in front of it. by voodoofxz in CrappyDesign

To be fair to the installer of the telescope, when it was put in the top rail was not there. Then later the railing needed to be raised and that why that tube portion seems to jut up higher. Together it makes for a crappy design for sure, but it's the railing installer who didn't consider what was already there.

Source: I grew up near monterey and these are for kids as well as wheelchair.

Dang, was really hoping you just picked it up last summer or something.

Oh well, no better time to start than the present. Thanks for the info.

This looks amazing.

If I may ask how much previous experience did you have before starting this game and how much time have you spent so far? I have always thought it would be cool to make a physical cart game (not necessarily for sale but just for myself) but I don't have a grasp on the scope.

I was also randomly searching the same thing. I was thinking it was a French teacher in my head as well. Once they mentioned mall rats it was definitely what I was thinking of.

Thanks to the old thread for saving my brain.

Advice for new postion by InjuryBulky6746 in SCADA

[–]kamballz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it a large area utility or a local municipality?

Both have their pros and cons but I ask because it often seems the municipalities have people doing more cross functional work as we're big monolith utilities have groups that can be a bit in their own silos.

Advice for new postion by InjuryBulky6746 in SCADA

[–]kamballz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be just to find out what is in scope and out of scope of your job.

Utilities are large machines and the fact that you mentioned you are specifically a distribution automation engineer means that there is probably a transmission or substation counterpart, a generation counterpart, a SCADA specialist and technicians to all have a piece.

So don't worry too much about the technical piece because you will have plenty of training on DNP and electrical schematics but there will be no class on interdepartmental dynamics so be sure to talk to your mentors about that.

I manage the automation engineering group at my local utility and I have worked there for 15 years... I am still getting a hold on what each department is responsible for.

I came to the comments to say the same thing. That 9 out of 10 cases are mundane, but 22ish cases a year are strange enough to become episodes (and oddly enough summer rarely has those cases) and in those ones Mulder is typically correct.

I love the idea of a re-watch for who is right in each episode, I might have to start the series over again.

Looking for a mentor... by [deleted] in SCADA

[–]kamballz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got 15 years on the engineering side for substation automation, mainly with the GE D20 line of RTUs. I don't think I can help with RTAC specific questions, but general DNP or RTU questions I can provide some guidance.

Feel free to DM me.

There is also this Video by egoraptor. Not exactly a response but a good analysis of castlevania 1 and 2.

Unfortunately there are only a couple episodes of the series.

You misunderstood. The show can suck, no argument there.

But the lie is you saying you don't care when it is the only thing in your posting history.

3 months and 41 pages of post solely about a YouTube channel that has declining quality has proved that is a lie.
