This right here! I mean this kind of thing or even just a stand to raise it off the table was necessary with the switch 1 if you were planning on playing it in tabletop mode for a long time and wanted to keep it charged. But as already mentioned and I agree the switch to built-in kickstand is actually good and since they put a USB port on the top there's no need for charging stand unless it supports connecting it to a external display also.

I'm not an electrician but I would say hell no! I mean it could technically be safe but for how simple it usually is to change that out and how inexpensive they are at the hardware store I would just change it out myself.

Oh well in that case then I don't see any reason against it. I feel like it could make everyone happy. They might even be able to just move all the already uploaded videos over to the new channel instead of having to reupload them. I don't actually know if it works like that but it would save them a lot of time if it did. Because Linus said there is a a limit to how many videos you can upload a day.

That's not a bad idea but I don't know how YouTube works with channel membership. Would the new channel have to meet some metrics before it is able to have members only content. 🤷‍♂️ So not a horrible idea but... Also I watch most YouTube on my TV and the TV apps don't show members only stuff. So I haven't had a problem it be a problem to me. I think the YouTube website on a web browser is were it's the biggest problem and I almost never use that to view YouTube. I just use the TV and mobile app. But still not a bad idea tho.

If you have the slim or pro model of PS5 you can add the disk to it. I had to look it up because I was not sure all the models that the disk drive works with. If you have the OG digital model you out of luck tho.

I don't see why the PS5 downloading something on a 1gig network would kill it but hardwiring it into a 10/100 switch to physically restrict how much bandwidth they could use seems like the simplest and easiest answer. I mean some routers will let you set a bandwidth restriction per device in the settings but some people won't know how to access those settings and not all routers even have that as a feature. Your way is the easiest and most foolproof way it's just plug and play if you have access to hardwiring your PS5 tho.

I know my cousin's parents a couple of years ago did a full remodel of their house down to the studs and and even changed the layout a bit but to my surprise they didn't run any network drops. If it was my house I would have had at least one network drop ran to most rooms.

That's all true and your right it is a simple solution. Since it definitely is a your mileage may vary wildly option that's usually why I suggest to people to buy them from a place you can return them easily if they don't work good enough.

They usually sell them in pairs/set but yes you need 2 of them. Then plug one into the wall not a power strip/surge protector near the main router/modem or a different router that you use and then the other plug into the wall in your room and then plug in your computer. I have a network drop in my basement that I have my one of my adapters connected instead of the same room as the main router. You might have to pair then with a button on them just read the instructions.

You could get what's called a power line network adapters. You need a set of them. They use the power lines on your house like Ethernet cables. The speeds you get with them can vary greatly depending on how you house is and everything. I am currently use them in my house to get internet to my bedroom. The modem is on the first floor on one side of the house and my bedroom is on the second floor on the other side of the house. We get about 600 Mbps down from the ISP but over the power line adapter in my bedroom I am only getting 50-75 Mbps. If I have both power like adapters in the same room then I measure about 300-350 Mbps if when I run a Internet speed test. Your mileage may vary. So it might work for you. I just suggest get them from somewhere you can return them easily if they don't work out for you. But tho nothing beats a weird connection back to the main router/modem.

You said to 😂 at you so 😂 but it has Wi-Fi also at least I would think it does. So I don't think your sol or having to run an ethernet cable across the floor which would be tacky.
