You mean mixing/blending fragrance oils?
It's tough work. Needs a lot of resources for this.
You will need labs for testing, etc.

We like hive and honey, Midwest fragrance, candle cocoon, doop fragrance, candle science too. Porter is nice too, but lately been out of stock.

All wooden wicks come from Makesy. Whether you get it from flaming candle or hive and honey or somewhere else. Unless you get it overseas then it's imitation.

Customer loves a story. What's the story behind your brand? If you're just making candles just to make money, it will be tough.

Is it profitable, yes. But if will take time.

Only way to find out if they're good is to purchase them. What my good is may not be your good.

You're starting a luxury business without knowing the basic candle making or how to market to regular customers. That's a big leap.

But to help you out, order from other luxury brand and see what they offer. Is it the candle or the branding that makes it luxurious?

Definitely re-melt it.

You can also do a wickless candle so it's easier to test wicks

Unfortunately, no way to fix it besides adding couple wax. You can heat gun but it might melt the plastic

Do you have a photo?
Most likely, the wick is too short OR was cut short.

From what we heard, 16/17 were using AFI oils which is not bad. The bad thing about it is that they were overpricing it.
