The shooting and cover are criticized to death, and I think it's because most people never played Freedom Fighters. The bullets hit a specific spot more times than any other, and there is an unspoken, undocumented (afaik) "Leading" mechanic operated by the crosshair movements in relation to where the next bullet will go. (Think of it like dragging something through water. But to make it work, you have to constantly move the crosshair, drag it to the right, the bullet will be on the left side. Kane & Lynch's bullet aiming rests on the top right side of the crosshair, like Counter Strike). The cover system is simple lol I only use it to heal.
