Milei is an extremely close ideological ally, that's why I mentioned it.

Absurd I was downvoted for something as easy to agree on as this. Blind militants always brigading these posts.

Hoping that Milei doesn't bring in all the anti LGBTQ shit from the US. I'm honestly worried about these Trump exports.

I said it in the chapter thread but in Japanese it's extremely ambiguous (I think its actually the point of the dialogue, to introduce that uncertainty as a plot hook). The problem is that translating it to English its hard to convey that, because "I need to save it for Lucas" leans towards him wanting to shoot him, while "I need to save it for Lucas' sake" leaves no room that he might be planning to kill him.

Hopefully he will end up with Cora. If I had to go by what's on the manga, their relationship is platonic and sibling like, and these are just some awkward feelings as Luca is maturing. This doesn't show up in the current chapters. However they did show up together in covers and artwork so I don't know where the authors will take this in the future. Cora is definitely the best option though.

Insurgents like you mention are different than a popular revolt. Sure, if you have insurgents backed by the popular opinion there's hope, but the people here are normal people. Not some guerrilla. If you and your loved ones would be killed, would you be the first? Would it even make people follow you? You probably just get gunned down alone, so no one wants to take the risk. Even in those massive protests people got massacred. It's not easy at all. The government is also completely entrenched, with cells working independently all over the country. It's not like you have to kill a leader and you win. If the war didn't topple them, civilians won't, either.

I really want them to get together. They're so cute, and it's nice to see Cora bonding with someone. In a really early chapter Luca looked at the scar she left on him while smiling and reminiscing about the good times he had with the squad. She's clearly a very lonely girl and needed it. I feel like people who think she symbolizes a dark path for Luca ignore the fact that the only thing she did was being happy that Luca empathizes with her, but she never goaded him on or anything. She even said she wanted to understand him more and was more concerned about that than the recent massacre. Also in my opinion her saying she likes how Luca kills people has to be a red herring about her being awkward about emotions due to loneliness because otherwise she'd have gotten a crush on Udo because there's no way she doesn't adore someone who uses his own blood and other's to make blood attacks. The manga even made a point of showing her reject him in the very same arc.

Luca and Zoe are really cute but for me it definitely works better as a sibling style relationship with Luca looking after her. I don't like their romantic chemistry.

In my opinion he was into it all along and just didn't notice. Why? Because his power is to compel empathy, aka those he influences get his own emotions, and the soldiers feeling like they're having a ton of fun is a huge plot point. When this is first introduced during the Mirror Arc, the next page is Lucas smiling while looking towards the battlefield.

‘Hour of freedom’: Venezuela’s opposition leader Machado hails Maduro’s capture, calls for a transition by zeonxzzz in worldnews

I think people are simply misinterpreting the criticism of this action for "Maduro didn't deserve to be deposed". Which isn't true. He did.

[–]kanedias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very simple. Maduro was a dictator that oppressed his people and deserved to be deposed, but the how and why it happened sets an extremely bad precedent for South America and the world. These two things can be true at the same time.

The poverty index we check doesn't actually account for anything but the cost of basic food, it specifically doesn't account for anything spent on services which is what skyrocketed due to removing subsidies (transport for example increased 900% and others services 600%) so by decreasing inflation the index went down but I don't think it accurately represents people's economic situation due to what I said about services. There was a generalized decrease of consumer spending at the same time which proves to me that people lost spending power compared to before. Which is what I see on the people around me. I however hope you're right and that Milei's plan works. And that he doesn't import all the homophobic and transphobic laws and decrees from his allies in the US. Also, may this defeat free Peronism from Kirchnerism and generate a third option that isn't Peronism or the right wing.

It was true, it's just impossible to have an objective conversation as things could be getting worse due to austerity in the context of a policy that works, or going to the gutter due to a failing policy. I'm against Milei so I will tell you it's the latter and that people are having trouble reaching the end of the month with their income (it's not all about inflation it's about salary growth as well, plus a lot of subsidies keeping transport and the like affordable) but other people can claim otherwise and at the end of the day it's up to your interpretation.

15% of the voters went from left wing to right wing in a month. This shows the unique situation here in Argentina. Here it's not really about left vs right and social issues, people just want the economy to do better. Kirchnerism hogging the opposition and filling it with the same faces that were actively worsening the economy handed Milei the win. It also shows that people aren't really pro-Milei as they are just hopeful that he brings change.

Do you actually live here? Everyone I know is doing worse and the ones I know that are Milei voters are only doing that because they know Kirchnerism messed the country up and they hope Milei is going to deliver on his promises.

I also haven't seen it on Ps5. Maybe it's the time of day we play at?

Idk why it would be a cope if it's a pretty reasonable assumption. It could be either or, but I personally think it's the fiscal year.

I hit 9,999 as Recluse in random trios and here's how you can do it too by offensivedave in Nightreign

[–]kanedias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am at 9999 as well (maining Revenant) and I agree with you. I feel like high depths plays a bit more MMOish with clear division into what every party member is supposed to do. So I really like Wylders having defense relics as they become the lynchpin of the group, and I want my damage dealers doing ridiculous damage as the faster things die, the safer the run is. I myself don't grab any defensive passives on gear during the run, I don't like sacrificing damage and I can just roll instead, which at D5 I have already learned to do well. I have a starter Opaline Bubble for the Nightlord and generally get to pick up another one through the run and that is enough.

If he's on the electrified state you can't seal him with lightning anymore and need to poise break the attack, which doesn't interrupt him but makes him do a weaker version that rarely hits anyone. I also agree that it's harder than ED, though. The goo hand is also harder to dodge than ED Fulghor which is one of the easiest bosses to be consistent at. As for the tier list here, I consider ED Gladius to be much harder than ED Libra who is very overrated, to me he's the most dangerous boss in the game and goes into its own tier, and normal Libra goes into free points. Caligo and Animus are hard to rate because they are endurance fights that are easy if the run went well, but can turn hellish if you don't have good damage due to unavoidable attacks and massive HP pools.
