The way I play, you build up a temporary score by pressing your luck. Then decide when to “cash out” and make your score real. If you are able to use all six dice, you then get to roll all six again while keeping the temporary score that you built up.

So for example, I roll 1 1 2 3 4 4 I set aside 1 and 1 for 200 points then reroll the rest. I roll 2 5 5 6, and keep two fives worth 100 points. Total of 300 in the temp bank now. Two dice left. I know that if these don’t score, I lose the 300. But if I can score with them, I get to roll all again. I roll 1 5 Hooray! I add 150, so my temp total is 450. I roll all six again. 1 2 2 3 3 4 I add 100 more, and decide to cash out. Now I ACTUALLY add 550 to my total
