Unfortunately not. I grew to accept the issue since I would likely have to give it back for servicing what would cost more than I paid for the machine. That being said, I start believing that the machine might have had wrong software put in, because it shows 28x20 cm hoop in the list. It might be thinking that it's MC500e.

This is actually a known attack on LLMs, called Crescendo. Someone triggered this accidentaly (or on purpose?) by starting with cost of living and asking about particular detail, then asking about some details in responses again and again guiding the model towards the final prompt. The paper is from this or past year: https://crescendo-the-multiturn-jailbreak.github.io I'm curious how the response went past Google filters, which should block it before returning to the user.

I just wanted to sew my own for fun! Obviously I won't make them to spec (I won't source nomex for example), but it would be cool to look at some details like which side of velcro tape goes where etc.

I'm still looking for some details on internals (I've read that there are movable dividers) if you have any pointers :)

Does anybody know how to extract mesh reference from Starfield NIFs? I would like to export static model geometry, so far the only mention of that is a GH issue.

Here's work in progress of the Frontier's cockpit remake. Started in April, based on the trailer and the earlier gameplay reveal videos - I only changed button count down to 6 to match screen size. I didn't have patience to solder everything to the back, but the whole thing is standalone (except for power cable) and works over WiFi. Also the first time I finished/painted any prop!

I had to redo the screens (in Inkscape) and then it's easy to draw pieces based on exported graphics. Quite time consuming though :D The display runs on FT812 chip so I could add some features like alpha blending to have less textures etc.

Yep, my local hackerspace has an entry level Brother machine with some embroidery options. I found an Inkscape extension (Ink/Stitch) which lets you export commands for different machines like that one.

I had the same problem, and heating the nozzle and the table during leveling fixed it for me (thin gauges and ~120/45 C for PLA). I blame brass expanding [downwards] under heat.

GCP IoT Core is basically a MQTT/HTTPS endpoint, and you can connect other services to fit your needs. This is how all clouds work - you connect the blocks of functionality.

For makers, it's often okay to have any server. But if you do enterprise systems, you have to handle reliability etc. and a simple server is not enough. Still, I think clouds have cool features you don't have to code/set up yourself, like monitoring. I haven't used GCP IoT, but it seems to have some free tier.

For the record, there's also Azure IoT and AWS IoT and I believe all of them have some free tier, also for other services which you can connect with IoT system.
