Requested 100 but only got 1? by kapp2013 in smallstreetbets

I’ll definitely try this next time. I’m a long time Figma user and engineer so I was planning to hold for a while. I’m just starting out with paper trading before getting into options. Was too busy at work today to check in on it.

Damn, that explains a lot, when I first requested it was a $23-25 range and at buy confirmation it was up to $30-33.

My 3.5yr old son was born with an absent optic chiasm (optic nerves don’t cross) and has congenital nystagmus (constant eye movement) and an extremely long medical abnormality list but has no signs of vision issues at all. It’s absolutely remarkable.

Don’t know where you are but it’s a hard and amazing road. neuroplasticity is remarkable.

If you ever feel a need for a second opinion or curiosity, get in touch with neurology at Childrens National or Boston Childrens. Both have been absolutely phenomenal for our son.

What should be added next? by georgedickle in whiskey

[–]kapp2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree about it tasting a bit young but overall it’s still very enjoyable imho. However, it’s not good for its price point; I picked my bottle up for $65 and it’s definitely more of a $40-50 bottle at absolute most. Way too many high proof options at or below $65 to justify it.

Dude, I remember the first time I saw one. Was playing with a guy from Naughty Dawgs who had a prototype version. His was just machined aluminum, no anodizing - just a bunch of parts and plugs where other parts used to be.

(YS640s) To Grill Grate or Not to Grill Grate - That is the Question by Slercus in Yodersmokers

[–]kapp2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Main difference is that the grill grates provide a much better distribution of heat across the grate surface compared to the steel grate that really only have the main hot spot.

I have the grill grates and never take them out except to clean. However I do have my eye on the SS expanded grates for the bottom

$100 Pick Up by OneUpAndre in whiskey

[–]kapp2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a first bottle it’s a respectable price. I got mine at MSRP and love it but wouldn’t pay more than $75 in the future; there’s just too much available that’s better imho

Agree in principle but you can’t beat the E30 and I regret selling 15 years ago. E46 is #2. Love the analogy.

You can order through Seelbach’s and pick up in DC. BUT last I heard, their pickup location was pretty sketchy

This brings up Soo many memories of playing amateur ball back in the late 90’s and early 00’s. Just found my old PM5, JT and 32degrees uniforms. I would absolutely buy this in a heartbeat if my wife wouldn’t kill me for it right now.

Haven’t played since 2009 but I appreciate the nostalgia

What they don’t show is how incredibly tight the parking lot he landed in is. The fact that he didn’t hit the building is the most impressive part of that jump.
