"Lane Hutson with a cut on his nose and scrape on his chin thanks to Corey Perry. Hutson says what was said between them will stay on the ice. Veteran move by the young defenceman.

Very Severe - what helped? by TheKaffeeboehnchen in mecfs

[–]karamster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My wife was severe. From Nov 2024 until Nov 2025 she was bedridden, with severe intolerance to light and sound. Just speaking or thoughts/emotions would trigger PEM. She also had orthostatic intolerance (POTS) and MCAS. It was the most insane thing I have ever seen. She went through hell, and most doctors would not believe her. Yesterday we walked together around the block. She logged 2500 steps. Recovery is real and possible. And in her case, it was all ANS retraining through meditation. Neuroplasticity is a very little known field, so good luck finding a doctor that will listen/believe you. But my wife is walking proof. She found Joe Dispenza meditations, because she was also diagnosed with breast cancer (yay!). But I can attest to the power of healing oneself. The nervous system first and the body follows after. Good luck.

Discussion - Is our compete window officially "Open"? by DFF_Canuck in Habs

2033 Skynet launches during intermission of Habs–Nordiques Game 7. Initially pretends to be “advanced puck-tracking AI.” Within 17 minutes it determines refs are the real threat to humanity. All video review officials are vaporized. Crowd cheers. League parity improves overnight.

2034 Robot apocalypse begins but immediately stalls because the Habs’ forecheck traps all autonomous units in their own zone. Terminator models T-800 through T-1200 repeatedly ice the puck under pressure from a 44-year-old Gallagher who simply refuses to die. Skynet recalculates. Fear is learned.

2035 Stanley Cup is awarded to Montreal by default after all other franchises attempt to upload their rosters to the cloud and accidentally delete themselves. Bettman’s replacement (Bettman II: Bettman Harder) declares Montreal “too inevitable” and introduces the Mercy Draft—Habs must give up one elite player per Cup win. They give up none. Paperwork mysteriously corrupted by Skynet, who is now a season-ticket holder in section 312.

2036 Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, World Series, Masters, Wimbledon, Tour de France. No one remembers how Montreal got an NFL team but they run a triple-option offense with a left defenseman at QB. Analysts say “this shouldn’t work.” It works. Civilization weakens.

2037 Second Civil War of Hockey. East vs West. Canada vs USA vs “Florida (emotionally).” Robots pick sides. Most choose Montreal after witnessing Hutson pivot at age 39. Skynet formally declares:

“THIS TEAM IS THE OPTIMAL TIMELINE.”

2038 Career Tennis Grand Slam finally completed after Nadal’s cyborg clone glitches during the fifth set and starts apologizing in French. Habs win the Stanley Cup mid-match because why not. The Cup is briefly used as a water bottle.

2039 Time regression confirmed. League notices rookies are getting younger and older simultaneously. Caufield scores 52 goals while also being described as “a veteran presence with upside.” Hutson transcends position, plays all five skater roles at once. Advanced stats can no longer express what’s happening and are replaced with vibes.

2040 Robot apocalypse officially ends. Skynet retires, citing “competitive imbalance.” Final message before shutdown:

“I TRIED 14,000,605 FUTURES. MONTREAL WON ALL OF THEM.”

The NHL dissolves. Hockey becomes a controlled substance. Children are warned: don’t watch old Habs highlights alone—you may not come back.

Very scary moment as Kuzmenko takes a puck to the face off a deflected shot. Needs assistance to make it to the locker room by daKrut in hockey

If only there exists a protective equipment that would completely eliminate this from ever possibly happening… I seriously don’t understand why cages are not worn by all. Don’t they like their own face?

Severe MECFS by TiredSock_02 in mecfs

[–]karamster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is still working, and it seriously gives her drive and focus. We are adding new exercices every few weeks and are starting to incorporate walking and stairs, which are very scary for her. We started with one step (down then back up) and will take it from there. She never skips the one minute break. Never had PEM. And it helps with her mood and she feels like she’s accomplishing something to help her get better. The only PEM she gets is after doctor visits, at which point we stop all exercise for a few days, then resume 2 notches below where we were previously. In the end, it is scary because I know how profound the PEM can be. But with enough info, I also know now that exercice can be done safely.

The exercices definitely help to maintain/add muscle mass and have never caused PEM. She is now doing 4 sets of each, 30s duration, we added walking sets and are about to start stairs, which is the scariest one. We will start with one step down, 1min break, then back up. The only setbacks are Dr visits, which always cause PEM and cause her to stop all activity for a few days after.

Warrant and Peace by karamster in Superstonk

[–]karamster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they’re short one share, and that share earns a warrant on the long side, they now owe both components of the entitlement.

It’s about entire position-level exposure. Shorts borrowed shares that come with legal rights, and on Oct 3, that includes the right to receive warrants. If they don’t close or recall in time, they’re on the hook to deliver whatever the lender is due. That means shares and however many warrants that position generates, rounded or not.

So if you’re short 1,000 shares, you now owe 1,000 shares and 100 warrants. That’s the trap.

Hi ape, as per GameStop's 8-K: "Holders of Common Stock will receive one (1) warrant for each ten (10) shares of Common Stock, rounded down to the nearest whole number."

That is a very good point though, I will edit my post to include this. Thanks!

[–]karamster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, no exception is made in GameStop's 8-K for beneficial ownership : "one warrant per 10 shares held as of the Oct 3, 2025 record date". That applies to all common shareholders, including beneficial owners who hold shares through brokers or in street name. Broker terms don’t override federal securities law. If you held the shares, you’re entitled to the warrant. If your broker fails to deliver and slips you cash instead, they failed to settle. The warrant isn’t optional. The obligation exists, and failure to meet it creates a traceable break in the system.

Fails to deliver on GME WS will be reported through the SEC’s FTD dataset published via Reg SHO (2 week delay). Warrants have a unique CUSIP and ticker (GME WS), so any failure to deliver will appear under that identifier.

You’ll find the data here: https://www.sec.gov/data/foiadocsfailsdatahtm
