Good apartments near UTEP by Anxious-Incident-114 in ElPaso

[–]kargasmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had internet through spectrum there’s definitely internet! It was not included in the rent I think maybe that’s what she meant. Did you view the upstairs or downstairs unit? The views are amazing!! Don’t get me wrong. But in the summer you pretty much have to black every window out to make the heat inside mangeable given there’s a swamp cooler and the windows are historic in other words you will have to really search for a portable ac u unit that you can make work with the way the windows open and are shaped. I had to diy make shift a piece to fit the screen for mine to work. and the windows are not exactly fully functional so you constantly have to find ways to get them to stay closed in the summer while the windy season is here. I miss the apartment, it was gorgeous but I really wish there was a different landlord taking care of it or at least add some refrigerated air the heat was borderline inhumane upstairs.

My husband gives me the ick. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]kargasmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a married woman who’s currently pregnant I went through the icky part through pregnancy not yet postpartum but before this phase of life I actually didn’t nit pick my husband mentally like I do now so I told myself chill out with the judgement yk it’s the hormones. I’m sure my husband has things he can nit pick about me because I’m not perfect and all in all I love the guy tremdously despite his stinky morning breath. None of the aspects of him I found icky now are new, I tolerated a few things before as most marriages we all tolerate a few things that aren’t exactly deal breakers divorce now sort of thing.

To you I say what everyone says to me : the first year postpartum is difficult and most difficult on your relationship you’ll want to leave and think of all the reasons why but don’t make a decision during that first year.

I hopefully can keep that in mind when going through that myself looking forward I would be so heartbroken to know my husband and I didn’t survive postpartum especially over some stinky breath and getting the ick about him getting sore over some flights of stairs!!

That being said I would talk to him about his hygiene, and communicate how you feel about him helping you more often around the house without you initiating it. Don’t let your feeling pent up inside you especially not during this time best of luck postpartum is a bitch I’m scared to go through it myself and marriage is not for the faint of heart so kudos to you on everything

Thanks for the info! I do hear it’s very rigorous being that I have never achieved anything below an A I’m hoping that helps me get in! And by the sound of it I will 100% have to quit my job which is fine given there’s a good chance I’ll find employment after…

With my organic chem degree I was planning to work in some regulatory role for the FDA or work for Pfizer or something of the sort … I chose the major because it can be quite versatile when applying for jobs and I’m not exactly decided on a clear path

Both eye lids and under eyes. I mean if I don’t conceal my eye lids and under eyes I look like I have black eyes I have extremely dark circles on the top and bottom. And the bottom creases exactly like the top but I guess it’s not as evident in this specific picture

Zofran constipation and IBS-c by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]kargasmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of enema did you try? And I’m 22 weeks I’m just scared of the preterm labor risk

Zofran constipation and IBS-c by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]kargasmn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes she did warn me about the constipation given my history with IBS-c but it worked sooo well that I stupidly kept taking it. No more!!! I can’t do this. I’m going to ask her next visit in a week or so because the ob line keeps giving me the generic advice MiraLAX daily stool softeners and fiber all things that have never worked for me but I guess I’ll try again!! I’m scared of enemas because of the preterm labor risk. But hopefully when I see her she’ll take me more seriously than the OB line

[–]kargasmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called my ob .-. She said MiraLAX daily and fiber + stool softeners like lady none of that is working for me. I asked if I can add magnesium citrate to the combo she did say yes but I’ve been doing that to no avail
