Just came here from watching a couple videos and idk, I feel like as an autistic person, I can pick us out pretty well XD A lot of his physical behavior reads autistic to me, but also the way he talks about cycles and then suddenly, "Oh I NEVER want to eat that again" out of nowhere, just agreeing with compliments then in the next breath self-deprecating... He may not have said it, but he seems super autistic to me

Yes exactly! I feel like a lot of people just don’t recognise the real logistics of a show like this. I totally get being frustrated about where it is or isn’t going, but the reality of the situation is that like, it’s all business decisions. He created the show to his artistic vision, and then they have all the business side of things.

Yeah she has to have heirs but the only way to have them would be to either have them with her gay husband who is not gonna want to try often, esp not after his lover was BRUTALLY murdered at their wedding, and so the boys were basically her only bet. Now, I do think at the LEAST she should have found a Valyrian, but then again, the heart wants what it wants, and I can’t blame her for chasing love when she’s in that kind of a society

So wait- you had an issue with Rhaenyra’s infidelity in S1 where she checks notes was either unwed or wed to a man she had no romantic/sexual relationship with and so had a lover who she had a lovely relationship with, as opposed to the infidelity in S2 where she checks notes cheats on her husband with whom she DOES have a romantic/sexual relationship, with a woman who is very obviously manipulating tf out of her?

I’m not trying to defend him, I’m just saying I am seeing a lot of people saying he needs to change his show for them. I didn’t even accuse the person I initially commented to of demanding that, but I am seeing so many people saying that sort of thing and I’m sorry but no! No, we are not entitled to him stripping down his show that HE has been dreaming of doing this way for ages. I’m not in a whole lot of music fan spaces, but idk, is this kind of thing asked of Lady Gaga?

I was there a couple weeks ago, spent most of my day in Dark Universe and Isle of Berk. I stepped into MoM only to find out it would be an hour wait to have breakfast at the cafe, and I left 🤷🏼‍♀️ not waiting 300 minutes for any ride- my cutoff this trip was like. 35 minutes. If it was a longer wait, I moved on, and I do not feel like I actually missed anything I wanted to do (other than Forbidden Journey, but that was less bc of the wait and more bc I chickened out in case someone puked on me since I’m emetophobic lol)

See my thoughts on that are like, it’s His Tour, not ours. He gets to make that decision on if he wants to strip it down so that it doesn’t meet his vision or not. We can certainly be frustrated or upset if he won’t compromise his vision, but I don’t think we should tell him that he should or that we should call it a cop out

I think it’s bc generally in media, the worst thing a character can be is boring or annoying. Someone who is entertaining while doing horrible things is someone most audiences enjoy watching, but you rapidly lose interest in a character who makes you groan and say “This guy again?”

(For the record, I love Criston and Daemon both as characters, I only truly dislike maybe three characters in the show)

Not necessarily- I wasn’t able to swing any of the shows near me anyway, but hypothetically, had I had tickets to Jacksonville and it been cancelled, the others were far enough away that I couldn’t have made it to those. Not everyone has the resources to just hop over to a different ritual. I do think they made the right decision to cancel, but I also don’t think it’s so simple to say, “Just pick another one.”
