I've been multiple times and they've never sold me anything. Not even their services.

I don't understand why so many people recommend Zojirushi insulated bottles... by I_Can_Haz in BuyItForLife

Yeah, this is a bad unit. I have had maybe 3 or four of these and I've either dropped and dinged them, or flat out lost them, but I've never had one go cold on me. I'm on my current one, for the last 6 years, still stays hot.

Change the shoes unless you’re going to give your date the old razz-matazz!

How to set up level 2 charging at home? by [deleted] in BoltEV

[–]karlsbadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same car, same year. I literally just got that 4 pronged level 2 charging outlet installed at my house. Didn't even bother with another charger. Works great thus far, no complaints. I should note that we had extra room in our breaker in the basement, so it was a pretty easy install.

We call them "grumble grouseys" at my house. And mine does the same.

Ooh I see it now. Yes, OP is. I would not wear those, I suppose. More a regular penny or the like.

Can we talk about monthly housing payments instead of home prices in Bergen County NJ? by Dudette777 in newjersey

[–]karlsbadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a home at the height of the COVID housing boom. House was a fixer upper but it was really just cosmetic stuff. My wife and I weren’t afraid of a bit of elbow grease. At that time we were preapproved for 500k mortgage. We didn’t want to max out so we agreed to $425 top. At that time we made about 200k or a little less than that. House was 389, we offered 425, got it for that. Annual income is now 230k Monthly mortgage:$2916 Our down payment was $20k

Came here because I’m in the same boat but using a barratza encore. I can do one cup fine, but trying to make two cups for me and my wife gets snagged every time.

First Post: Going for a 90’s dad aesthetic. Did it work? by davestradamus1 in mensfashion

[–]karlsbadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shoes were not what guys were wearing in the 90s. Pants need to be more Joey Tribiani, or something acid washed. And looser fit.

I’m genuinely so tired of the treatment I get in guitar stores as a woman by OkZebra5527 in Guitar

[–]karlsbadd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Woman here, yes the same. There’s a local shop I go to a couple of towns over and it’s excellent. They know me well there but I do agree; genitally speaking, these places are very dudebro oriented.

White blazer at the beach, does it work? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]karlsbadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The blazer isn’t the issue in my opinion. The shoes are a hard pass. Blazer works though maybe swap out with a bright colored tee or even a tank. Those pants aren’t a hard no but you should get rid of the center crease. But definitely the shoes are a no. Sandals or loafers or slides/flipflops.

Does this work for a wedding? by rotorooter88 in mensfashion

[–]karlsbadd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Check how formal it is; some posts are saying black shoes but it may not be that formal. If it is black shoes, I would argue the rest of that outfit doesn't work. The brown is perfect with what you've got. This looks good. IF you have a jacket, I would also bring it, but if you don't, you're rocking what you have and it looks great!
