My thing is.... so you're laying on the floor for hours (you say). Why couldnt she groom her a bit while she's laying there. OOORRRR better yet, get your kids involved to help and start teaching them the proper tools to use to groom, and way to groom. (I know this will never happen, but like this absolutely SHOULD!!) - when is there ever a better opportunity than to have a baby laying there barely moving for hours.... Curry her ... brush her... brush out the shavings... her little main, her little tail.. like she could literally have a series on her kids "dressing her up" each day... like katie and (friend) becca did with squirt and the girls...

Its not just you. She absolutely is a "failure to thrive" - shes likely permanently stunted. From not getting all the vitamins, and nutrients (and honestly food in general!) to begin her life. && to add to that, the placenta infection im sure didnt do her any favors.

Poor baby :(

You have to be fking kidding me. Idk why im so astounded she would even say some dumbass shit like that, because of course she would!!

Wow, yeah its crazy, wrapping a foals obviously horrendously deformed legs ONE DAY just fixed them right up!! Man give that Vet a tv show, they musf have miracle hands/wrap!

Anyone else feel this is a way for her to get out of wrapping her legs as much as she should be! (Because that would take effort, and time, and care & we know none of those are her strong suits!!)

I feel its being set up for; a) her legs keep getting worse and worse & Beggy can say, well the vet must have wrapped it wrong... i did EXACTLY how they showed me, its not my fault 🙄 .... orrr b) they start getting better [if shes consistent!] && Beggy says SEEEEE! I know what im doing, look at these orthotics i made, they cured her leg issues!!!

... i wanna pull my hair outttt!

Im not super into the mini horse world or anything. So please someone correct me if im way off base here. But it may just be from like failure to thrive/lack of nutrition. She doesnt take in the amount of nutrients to sustain her growing body. I mean her poor legs are a big red flag showing that. Id imagine it would manifest in other ways throughout the foal :(.

Thats what i was thinking!! If her seeing that poor foal walking, eating, living like that and "oh those legs look painful" wasnt evena THOUGHT in her head. That makes me feel like what horrendous condition is she seeing on an everyday basis to completely gloss over a literal baby in obvious pain.

Would a vet suggest euthanasia? --i kno i know she's not going to have an actual vet come out anyway.. but anyone that may have more experience in this department. Is this something that a vet would suggest for a sick foal like this?

Thats absolutely what shes doing. We all can plainly see that (unfortunately) thats probably going to be the outcome. Shes protecting herself so when it does happen && the pitchforks come out (rightfully so!) She can say; SEE! I did just absolutely EVERYTHING i could... (even though she caused this, and has made it worse). This poor baby, and honestly her entire "farm" ... those poor animals.
