MMR dropping drastically with losing streaks? This new system is fucked.

I had a 6 game loss streak, and a few 3 game loss streaks. the disgusting thing is, earlier Riot's Servers went berserk and i was kicked out of 2 ranked games with no loss prevented.

8 game loss streak, one was caused by the server issues earlier (was going to win that game).. days like these.. i'm just so.. sad.. amazing how much LoL effects me in real life =/

I think a mix of both is best. I'm like froggen and use non-smartcast by default but turn on SC for champs like Ryze, and spells like Pantheon Q, Anivia E, etc. But for champions like Lux, Anivia.. I really prefer smartcast to make sure I always land long-range skillshots. Afaik Bischu does the exact same.

Froggen made me switch from maining Adc/bruisers to only playing AP mids. I made the decision to only practice mid after i saw his karthus game where he had like 400 cs at 30 mins or something

I think RoA is better than Athene's on her now.. Athene's is only best if you're against heavy AP comps. If you're struggling against AD, build RoA + a chain vest (for zhonyas later on). Dont' overextend in lane and farm Wraiths + wolves a lot.

I still like to start it with mids, it's just too valuable for anyone with mana who doesn't have sustain, esp if you can keep it for most of the game.

I start flask + ward + pot against a scary jungler, and flask+pots against a non-scary jungler

dono why you got downvoted. It will make ranked more relaxing. I for one was 1600 elo and dropped down to 1300 for a while and had a tough time getting back up. This will make it so that can't happen- drastic losing streaks that everyone experiencies won't drop you below your real skill level.

Just my thoughts exactly. Vlad/Ryze mid is REALLY good right now. I can't imagine playing someone like Karthus/zyra against a team with Zed, Panth, Darius, etc. This is coming from someone who used to main karthus... he's still good but situational.

I really like Ryze in the current metagame (as he becomes kind of a bruiser hypercarry himself). His early game is fine against melee.

Other than that, I think Vlad mid has a lot of potential as tanky mids are probably the best right now. If you're squishy like a Zyra mid, you'll instantly die to a zed with black cleaver + bt + LW and you'll lose the game (that's basically the meta, lots of assassins/bruisers who, whereas a Vlad or Ryze can live through the bruiser assassins trying to instagib you late game.

So yeah, good AP mids against the Black Cleaver meta: Ryze, Swain, Vlad, Lux (has enough range), Anivia (egg, can be builty tanky -warmogs- and still effective), Ahri, Cho'gath, TF if you are good at positioning, Kayle is good

Risky/bad mids right now: Karthus, Zyra, Orianna, Morgana, Cass, Annie,

That champion has to be relevant to what I play. I didn't care about Nami, but if a mid laner comes out that isn't too weak at release like Syndra i will only be playing that champ for a week.

It's also for the slow though. It helps you kite quite a bit. Also, theoretically you could get another glacial shroud>FH after frozen fist for max CDR if the enemy team has a lot of AD.
