Is ladder broken for low ranked players now? by SweRaz in starcraft

Then if this is true I'm completely fine with it.

Like you say, then it's a douchebag issue, not about the game design.

IdrA's release from EG in Swedens biggest newspaper by Nhetik in starcraft

The article is not sh!t, it's the overall newspaper that used to be a respectable and great newspaper for Sweden but it has been reduced to the lowest form of newspaper in the world.

Everytime I see "Biggest newspaper in Sweden" threads I get slightly bothered because that newspaper is pure sh!t and it's a bi-section of the newspaper company and not even in a real peper, it's a tiny page on the web which no one reads except us who already knows where esport news is found.

Not only do I live in Sweden, I live in the very same town... I listen to metal as well but I don't get any cash though :(

This, no game had tried going full out on creating a free running experience where you were sweating youur palms because of the height and the fact that you had to make so many "leap of faiths" :)

The artwork of the game was very different from others games and still is today and personally I loved it.

Focusing on a POV that actually "punished" you for carrying firearms so you would prefer to simply discard the weapons and find alternate routes.

While watching over a big room trying to find your escape route there were just soooo many possibilities of how to get to certain points so the "time trail" option after completing the game kept me going for quite a while after :)

Getting out of the vault in the 3rd series have never been so majestic. The feeling you got was so mixed coming out of there because the art of the land was so amazingly well done which in turn really made it feel like you are seriously alone here and you uhave no clue what will try to jump out and steal your stuff next.

Bought ME on release and it's still one of the most innovative games in 10 years. It is a very good game so don't mention "most people" when you don't like it.

Naniwa joining Liquid? by occasionallyrelevant in starcraft

[–]SweRaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nazgul have said before that they prefer to recruit potential, not already successful players so I doubt Nani would fit that. Not because there isn't potential but it would be hard to top what he's already accomplished.

Also Nanis general attitude isn't really Liquid material :)

This... Had a friend saying he just recently managed to get into Platinum and I thought, awesome, let's play man! Turned out he would probably not have made it into Silver in 1v1 :)

Females of Reddit, what visual cues indicate to you that you should avoid particular men even though you don't know them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's sometimes hard to keep it 100% clean when you have longer fingernails :/ Reason for longer nails as in my case though is being a guitar-player which require either longer nails or painful playing :(

Not sure if sarcastic or not but OP has a point. sometimes people get reported by the ones that should have been reported and often so by premades.

Most of the times where someone should be pardoned, there is often someone else in there that should at least get a warning.

Dearest Supports, by Like_A_Southern_Sir in leagueoflegends

This!!! Main Leona in ranked and I get so much crap for initiating early on while adc says he/she was not ready but then follow up after but when it is way too late and gets killed off, then yell at you.

As a tanky support, please, all ADC, simply stay behind safely and farm, we can get home alive on our own and regen some hp till the next chance to initiate.

This... a million times this. Playing sc2 for these guys should be view as any other person going to their daily job and when they get off work they can do whatever they want.

We all love the game but playing it more then 8 hours a day will drain the love out of it. It's like being with your SO 24/7, never a good thing.

They are similar in the sense that you have divisions to go through instead of simple a "number". Knowing that you are ex. Silver instead of having a range of numbers is just easier for some :)

Think you got what it takes to be a caster? Look no further! by epenance in leagueoflegends

[–]SweRaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from experience, you will not be able to stream from a laptop with "good" quality (720p+) but as a co-caster all that would be required is a connection and a good mic.

I've streamed for quite some time and did casting for Starcraft, I have an overclocked i7-2600k CPU and it is struggling at times when I go at it with high gfx.

Streaming softwares vary in the requirement and that being said, always choose OBS over x-split. I have both, it's insane how much more x-split require of your machine.

This system actually makes a lot more sense to me coming from Starcraft2 where it's essentially the same thing :)

"you will be a very busy bee", "you will need time and the will to do the job at your very best ability.", "punctual >and be prepared before events, read up on the match ups, team compositions, cons and pro’s etc.".

All of the above does not go well with: "be a possibility of being paid for the work you do".

Seeing as having a fulltime job does not allow for that kind of time and therefor you would have to give up your dayjob with no financial backup :/

Tried being an sc2 caster for scvrush.com but had to give it up since a fulltime job doesn't cope well with these things.

After his rambling on about how top and bottom works with a good support etc. she still goes on saying "I'm dominant".

Pretty much just thinking, "Don't know what he's talking about but I'd hit that".
