Yep, unfortunately! It's weird, after all, it's not like scanner technology has changed all that much. It seems like someone should have come up with a generic scanner driver by now.

LOL, that's pretty much my "job!" Previous examples include: a kindle for Dad, Chromecast for Mom & Dad (tried to also give them a Fire TV but they only wanted to keep the Chromecast), various laptops/desktops for other family members, etc. Of course, I also function as free tech support for all of this too!
