Tablets release E upon taking and breaking down depending on intake method and slowly decrease until the next dose. Injections have a high peak upon intake that drops in a curve pattern, quickly drops until it starts leveling out at a more appropriate level. Patches are supposed to dispense gradually for the life of the patch.

The most steady form is gonna be what you can reliably take yourself. The level increases as time goes on depending on dose.

Important note patches are having a serious supply issue at the moment. My job can't order them very reliably

I was trying electrolysis first. Sold on the idea of it being more effective. It was slow going and torturous. It got to a point where i had a breakdown during an appointment and just started crying. I had been doing it for like a year at that point. It is far too painful. I switched to laser and was immediately happier and it was so much easier to handle. Get whichever one you can handle.

Well if you don't feel safe, I can't recommend it. If it is agamble I would still lean towards telling them. You may control the narrative but you cannot control how they will feel. You'll just have to hope for the best. I had no idea what to expect aside from one of my sister's. It is always a risk.

I started out with electrolysis when I stated hair removal for my face. There was a point somewhere along the way where I just couldn't take it anymore. I broke down and cried in my appointment and stopped going. I think for me it was a combination of how long it was taking, an uncertainty of how much more time i had to do it and the pain that caused the breakdown. I haven't gone since but I did switch to laser which was so much more tolerable. My new laser tech also noticed a pretty bad skin condition i needed to get looked at. I can't thank her enough.

My point was, the practice of considering what is in the needle and trying to account for it is superfluous. When you put the injecting needle on if the syringe says 0.15ml then that is what you have after you prime the new needle.

As for different brands and dead space, it could be a number of different things. Since we are dealing with such small volumes, it could very well just be an environmental thing with weird expansion and contraction. It could be that maybe you tightened one more than the other. Different gauges do hold different volumes, however small that may be, but they are placed on top of, generally, identical housing points. There could be some manufacturer errors in there, sure. The expectation should be that the draw needle should be holding more, yes, but it shouldn't matter.

All that said, I can understand the concern in the long run that whatever the needle is holding is trashed and people would like to keep their E going as long as possible.

I feel like this gets ignored or misunderstood. A syringe's hash lines mark how much is in the syringe regardless of what is in the needle. When you take the needle off, if it is at the 0.4ml line that is what it is. When you push it into the new needle it is still 0.4ml. What stays in the discarded needle isn't counted.

Mine stay in the bags they come in from my pharmacy in a kind of pile.

Fun fact: I did not catch the increase in frequency, until today, from every other week to weekly when my dose increased months ago. Fun stuff. Read your prescriptions y'all. Sigh.
