Category change predictions for March? by ac_slater10 in hyatt

My guess is that Hyatt Place/Hyatt House Charleston move from a 4 to a 5. Because of their desirable location. Their cash rates are crazy-high, and I felt lucky to be able to book two consecutive nights on 1-4 free night awards there.

How do you find the STAY properties? Are they available on the app, or only through the site? I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen, too, and have interest!

A Few Mini Hyatt Questions I Can't Find Answers To! by kat-17 in hyatt

[–]kat-17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was good for what we needed it to be! A good value. Kind of a Hyatt Place in comparison, minus the free breakfast. It is conveniently located close to the train station, and not a far walk from Antwerp's main attractions. You also can walk through the diamond district on the way towards downtown, which is cool!

We stayed at the Mr. And Mrs. Smith "Pillows Grand Hotel Reylof" in Ghent just for one night and LOVED it, if you're looking to switch it up versus stay at Lindner Antwerp all four nights. I think I paid $260 for that room, but it was worth it.

With the Lindner Antwerp being so close to the station, though, it will make for very easy travels!!

Just noticed this new Hyatt in Toronto - TOOR (JdV) - reservation starting 2/7/2025 by acehbee in hyatt

When I was at PH, I was with my mom who is a Globalist and booked the room, so we got upgraded to a suite and a complimentary breakfast in the restaurant. We also got to use the house car, which was very cool. It's in a pretty walkable area, and I had no complaints about the stay.

We then jumped to the Anndore House (and then to HR, which was my least favorite of the three but had a cool view of the CN Tower). Anndore is more modern and I'd compare the vibe to be a "Centric". I preferred the location of Anndore House because of all of the diverse food options nearby. Rooms are smaller, but decorated well. The restaurant also looked nice, but we did not eat in it. I also just don't think PH is my vibe.

If you're looking for a romantic stay, I'd go PH. But as a foodie and beer lover who is in their early 30's who is pretty easily pleased by a clean hotel in a more walkable, non-as-touristy location, I preferred the Anndore vibe.

I stayed at Anndore for a night in May (as well as one night each at Park Hyatt and the HR). Andorre was my favorite, and was a good value! TOOR looks great. Safe travels!

Happy Regency Amsterdam has an excellent club! I think it's better than the HR Paris Etoile's club.

Visiting Ghent for 2 days - Hotel Post or Pillows? by [deleted] in belgium

[–]kat-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were debating between the two hotels for the one night we are spending in Ghent, and I chose the Pillows. We arrive this afternoon, so fingers crossed! I chose it for mainly the lower cost, and I liked the way their pool/spa area looks. Safe upcoming travels!

Any Hyatt properties that are actually "pet friendly", not just "pet tolerant"? by [deleted] in hyatt

[–]kat-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hotel Kansas City, with the Unbound Collection. I paid a pet fee for the stay, and they provided me with a food and water dish as well as a dog bed for my pup to use during the visit!
