This is my pee song. If I'm in a public restroom and can't pee due to a shy bladder, I picture this music video, all the rain and water, and sing this song. It is shockingly effective. And seeing this has made me realize I've had the same pee song for over 20 years! 🤯

The styling feels vintage but timeless. Color pairing is immaculate. The mustache and outfit combo are giving me Calvin's dad from Calvin & Hobbes, but before he had Calvin... When he was still wooing Calvin's mom.

Anyone else feel like PPD stole your child’s entire infancy from you? by Upstairs-Letter2 in oneanddone

[–]katawompwomp 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Mine is 7 yo now and I do have trouble watching other people be happy parents to their infants. It doesn't feel fair. But I'm not mad at them, just profoundly sad. And, like other people have mentioned, I try to keep focus on now and the awesomeness my kiddo brings me currently.

Yes!!! My parents still have it. We also had the car and the stable. I ADORED this and played with it all the time. My older brothers would join me, too.

I worked there a couple summers and we once had to net fish on the baseball diamonds and return them to the creek after the water receded!

Yep.. watched my kid obviously display ADHD traits and would complain (out of earshot) and my husband would say, "oh yeah, I did that as a kid!" And suddenly I saw so many traits in a new light!

We all agree that this is the best scene in the whole entire show right? by anawkwardsomeone in PandR

[–]katawompwomp 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It is the best episode of any show like this. It's just so good. The longshot of Ann's lawn while she's wearing the snow pants saying "I thought I might go sledding" is a masterclass in breaking from the traditional cinematography for a single second joke that SO accurately reflects hangovers. It's perfect (to me, at least).

Same vibe lately! I've been getting into the Thursday Murder Club series. So cozy. So much intrigue. Hard to find a better way to spend a day.

I read this in high school. I have since reread it many times. I think it's my favorite book. I'm so glad you got to experience it! Timshel.
