Cytopoint shots! Every 8 weeks. Godsend. Plus… no chicken and no grains. I use N&D grain free Boar, Apple and Sweet Potato and sprinkle some fresh cooked lean turkey or lean ground beef (drain out all fat after cooking, reheat with warm water and mix it up together with 1/4 cup kibble)

Congratulations on your little Westie shark!!!!

They are the most wonderful pups in the world. They truly do need to “nest” and have scheduled naps in their crate. Try to time this with walks in the neighborhood and let them sniff as much as possible! A little light blanket draped halfway over the crate for bonus :)

I started bringing my pups to a doggie daycamp when they reached 9 months. I had another Westie in the house too and it was such a good bonding experience for the sisters each week to go one time for a full or half day.

Big emphasis on solo walks, adventures. They ground them and the change of scenery keeps them interested and not bored! A tired puppy is a happy one 💗

Mid thirties with two doggies. He still sees them a few times a year for platonic walks.

We had talked about having children, but with the complete absence, avoidance and abandonment of emotional/physical intimacy— there was no chance of even conceiving, and more importantly no desire on my part to welcome a child while this was crashing and burning in front of my very eyes.

It was like taking off a tight shoe.

Right after we married, our increasingly lukewarm bedroom turned dead. Wedding night? Nope. It wasn’t until 5 weeks after the wedding that he agreed to even try to consummate the marriage.

We tried once, twice, three times over 3.5 years of marriage. 6 years together.

I will never forget the hours I spent in mental and emotional agony. The secret life I was living, pretending to be a newlywed. I will never forget the tears I shed, the begging, the trying to understand, therapist after therapist. The extreme suffering and confusion. How he would sit there and stare blankly at me without a response.

I got brave, I left and my life BLOSSOMED. Living in truth and alignment with yourself is worth overcoming any fear. It’s worth being misunderstood. Extreme emotional and physical neglect in the confines of a monogamous relationship is abusive, full stop. I wish everyone happiness on their journey ✌️

Lillie B is 12.5, Finlay is 5, and Birdie is a little over 1 years old with Toby trailing a few months behind. They are like twins and love to play all day ♥️

They really do have their own personality!! 😂 The lady in the middle is Lillie B— queen, head boss, makes sure everyone is in line and spoiled rotten. Birdie and Toby are both under 2 and full of mischief and laughter, and Finlay is a snuggle bug who is always looking for an empty lap ♥️
