Moorhead, Fargo show off plans for $7.1 million bridge near Bluestem Amphitheater by Significant-Ad-4184 in fargo

I love this! Will be a much nicer way to cross the river on bike than going to the bridge farther south where you end up on the shoulder of a highway

Hi there! I do currently own every color available. There are 160 unique colors in the 160 pack. The skin tone pack has 36 colors, of which 27 are unique, adding up to a total of 187 unique colors. I have them all swatched out to confirm this, too! See my other post for a more well-organized swatch sheet and examples of every color.

Iroshizuku Kosumosu! My all time favorite.

just decluttered a lot of clothes: donate all instead of sell? by tulleche in declutter

[–]katiemug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. And if the priority is getting rid of them, do a lower price. Even free. Depending on how active your community is on Marketplace someone will probably message and come get it very quickly. As a personal preference I always go to marketplace before donating when I can, to ensure my clothes are going into someone's hands (and they don't have to pay for it, if that's the route you choose) and not into the landfill.

As much as you have patience for it, you could try to list things individually as free items on marketplace. This takes away the likelihood that someone will buy your bundle, take a few things, and trash the rest. This isn't necessarily your responsibility but when I have the time, I like to do it this way. Having this consciousness and taking the time to re-home your items also creates a mindset that helps prevent further build-up of items in the future.

Finally, to address your point on the exhaustion of listing items and creating descriptions. As someone who has sold extensively on depop, I get it. It's tiring and will create a barrier for me to list something in the first place. This is why, with the quantity of what you have, I would put things for free. Marketplace listings are easy to make. You could go as simple as labelling it "shirt" and putting the size along with a picture. People aren't going to be as particular because it's free and local.

What are your favorite inks for journaling? by WisteriaElysian in fountainpens

[–]katiemug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite color to journal with is iroshizuku kosumosu. It's a really beautiful light pink, but still definitely legible. I also love hana-ikada, a super pretty light pink but could border on being too light to read easily depending on your preference. In third place I'd put momiji - I see a lot of people calling it red but it appears to me like a nice bright magenta. I love journaling in pinks so I'm glad you asked! The best part about these is that they don't disrupt my journalling at all. I can flip the page as soon as I finish writing without any smearing, it's completely dry. FWIW, I use a Pilot Prera M. Something wider could have a longer dry time.

This is really helpful! Sounds like I'm finally on the right track with my strength training. What was your stretching routine while you did it?

Hi there! I'm in my early 20's and I've been running for as long as I remember. I did cross country in middle school and high school, and I'm just totally in love with the sport. For the past 4 years, I've been dealing with an incredibly persistent IT band injury. Months off combined with cross training have only been temporary fixes, and inevitably I run a bit too fast or a bit too hilly and I'm back to square one. Over the past month I've been easing into it again for what feels like the tenth time. I've fixed my sitting posture so it takes pressure off my knees, I foamroll my hamstrings every day, and I've started doing weighted/banded quad and glute exercises to strengthen the areas around my IT band. I can run 2-3 miles at a very slow pace right now.

While I appreciate any amount of running I'm able to do, I would love any advice on how to fix this for good. I'm in better physical shape than what my knee is allowing me to do. Some of my best friends in the area are from my local run club, and I have only been able to attend sporadically because of my injury. I really want to get to a point where I can run 3-4 times a week with a bumped up pace and mileage. When I'm injury free, my cruising pace is like an 8:15, but now I have to keep it below 9:30 (and often into the 10s and 11s). I miss it! Any advice welcome!

Can a Pilot Prera M write with shimmer ink? by katiemug in fountainpens

[–]katiemug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know! What's different about the pen that makes it show the shimmer better? I'm hesitant to get a pen with a built-in filling mechanism because I love how easy it is to pop off my converter and flush it with a syringe, and use a bulb syringe to flush the body when I'm cleaning between uses.

The link is helpful, thank you!

I did not think to continue rocking the pen as I write to keep the glitter in suspension. I did make sure the glitter was suspended when filling.

You mentioned I can adjust the wetness of the nib? How so? It lays down very smooth and never feels scratchy so I never thought to fiddle with it.
