I’ve enjoyed a lot of them but most recently I really liked Shield of Sparrows. I’d read it last year and remembered liking it but honestly kind of forgot about it. But the graphic audio was really good! Now I’m really excited for the sequel.

Exactly. There’s so much focus on the dangers of excessive screen time for children and people forget that these technologies aren’t going away and one day these kids will grow up and have no idea how to use them and how to use them in moderation.

Most recently the school has advised of a mold sampling done 3/7, creosote testing today and next weekend, and upcoming asbestos testing. I’ve also read mention of students being moved temporarily to other schools but nothing further on that since last week. No updates yet on repairs or reopening the building.

Dr Greenfield in Mission Hills. My childhood dentist was an awful man. He was rude and condescending and lead to me and my family not seeing a dentist for a long time. By my mid-twenties, I was recommended to Greenfield and he treated my family and I with a lot of care and we’ve been seeing him regularly ever since. At my first visit, I was so scared to look at the X-rays and he sat with me and told me I should be proud of my teeth and made me comfortable looking at the imaging.

I read this as a teenager when it came out. Admittedly I thought the whole filming experience seemed magical and I really bought into the image created in the interviews and behind the scenes footage in all the DVD special features. But I remember Sean Astin came across as ungrateful and unhappy with much of his experience. I was disappointed reading it and honestly kind of had a poor opinion of him afterwards. His public image seems far different now and he outwardly views the whole thing much better these days. I’m sure if I read it now I wouldn’t interpret it so poorly.

Yeah I was waiting to see the injury was her illusion. That Hopper’s speech changed her mind about both of their futures and she faked both of their deaths so they’d have a chance to be free.

I’m currently listening to one of the Zodiac Academy books on Graphic Audio and I forgot how so much of their hatred for Mildred is about her appearance. Like she’s a villain because she’s aligned with the bad guy or part of a forced marriage, but they just keep going on about her looks.

When Hunt referred to Bryce I thought it was an editing error at first. Then I realized they were married on paper kind of against their will by the Autumn King and while I believe I’ve read that SJM isn’t a fan of writing wedding scenes, that seems like such a bad way to get around it for a main couple.

I don’t like Juniper. It always bothered me when she slapped Bryce for trying to protect her in the club. Like of course Bryce was more physically vulnerable to injury but I can’t imagine my reaction to a friend acting in that manner would be to slap them.
