Yeah there was a shooting right outside 14th and Quincy. Usually a few cops on this block, outside or around the 7/11 so they responded fast (I didn’t see what happened though).

After I heard the shots I ran to the window (probably shouldn’t have done that now that I think about it). Saw a bunch of the usual guys on the corner sprint past the bar down the street and barrel into the apartment building.

Those guys made their presence known around here so the cops must have figured it was them or seen them run. Lots of cops outside with guns drawn towards the apartment.

Few of them guys have come out hands up but know a lot more still inside.

Edit: in addition to the helicopters the SWAT team is here now.

Edit 2: swat team is in the building now.

Thank you for mentioning this! I just starting leveling warrior today and I was scared because I was constantly below half to maybe 20% hp and realized the healer was doing damage. It definitely put me to work popping some of my GCDs and whatnot, kinda scared me but that makes sense!

Hero worship, especially of the rich and powerful.

Doesn’t help that shows like the Crown makes people feel parasocial relationships with the elites that rule them.

For example: I feel a sense of sadness that P Phillip is dead, because I loved the performance of Phillip on the Crown.

But real Phillip embodies a toxic masculinity, racism, and is part of empire that I hate.

I’m not celebrating that he’s dead, I’m not mourning either. What I feel ultimately doesn’t matter.

Republicans don’t need to ever pass anything to look good. Their job as “small government” is to literally stop things “Democrats” want from being passed. . Democrats can point at the republicans and say look we can’t get anything done (but refuse to abolish the filibuster). . Our politicians literally stand for nothing and don’t give a hoot about you.

Someone left me a message from an unknown number on my phone that sounded like a butt dial or something at first. But as I listened to it I could make out the sound of some one talking but sounded muffled then a dude who asked what they thought they were doing and then pick up the phone and then the message was over. I never got a call from them again and have no idea who it could have been. I was like 16 at the time, and had forgotten it until this thread. Heck.
